It would be an amazing airsoft experience, unfortunately the risk of a player taking 28 pounds of fast-flying materials to the face is simply too high. No one would be willing to insure the airsoft field that offered this feature.
@Thatoneguy That sounds like it would be significantly less risky, yes. Maybe some fields would be willing to consider it, you'd have to ask the people in charge.

@@thalmoragent9344 That would be epic in Airsoft War events, like there's a number of people with the right to call in Aerial Airstrikes once in a life, of course the planes would have to come in more numbers, be larger and have the controllers (people flying them) able to keep them in eyesight, but it would be goddamn epic, like the enemies are holed up in a house and then a plane squadron of like 3-4 strafe the windows and maybe they could add Airsoft grenades as bombs using systems similar to the one used by FliteTest in the Battleship videos

my inexperienced with rc tells me this is a new bold design with brute force but also large scale which should not be handled with tight maneuvers like a small rc but this is just IMHO

Doable if you had a decent rate of fire the gun they used here is not firining very well for an airsoft gun ( I modded my G&G to fire near 1000 RPM and theres faster than that)
with a high speed rig you could probably get some hits :D

And they have to add warning in case some idiot gets hurt doing the same thing because they would be blamed for not adding a warning.
Like a lot of things you can buy at stores have warnings that are obvious but companies have to add them in case some dipshit gets hurt and sues them.
I would totally add a gun and if I got hurt it would be my fault for doing what I was told not to do not theirs because they clearly warned me. If they didn't I could blame them for not warning me it was dangerous. I wouldn't blame them but some other people might if they didn't put a warning.
American logic. In Europe we don’t need disclaimer because peoples know that could be dangerous and any court will dismiss a case for suing a lack of warning.

Since you guys seem to be getting more and more into logistically complex challenges, I have one for you: a space shuttle. team up with your model rocket guy, get a dimensionally accurate shuttle into the sky, detach the tank and boosters, and glide the shuttle down.

Like the Top Gear shuttle episode..only that at smaller (and easier scale) and with something that can actually be glided down (im sure that Reliant Robin ..had it separated it would done a crapy glider)

they sell drones with airsoft guns mounted under them, some big airsoft fields also bring in helicopters and let people gun from the side at larger games.
@@mogetfog yep, iv ridden in a deuce, russian armored scout car and many hummers. My local field has had choppers at some events (unfortunately, none that I was at) and there are all kinds of fun crazy things that some fields have (even legit tanks)

Yeah, I agree, would be nice if you could put some edf units in it at a reasonable cost. Twin 80mm max, preferably twin 70mm size. I have the FMS A10, which flies surprisingly well for its 4.5 kg weight.

Oh, I disagree. This was not a waste of time. This was amazing to watch. I can't imagine the adrenaline rush actually doing it. Well thought out. Expertly executed. Thank you for the inspiration. The A-10 is an amazing platform in real life. While I regret it wasn't actually powered as you guys originally rigged it, It was jaw dropping to watch. The A-10 flies over my home, as I live close to an air force base. I can not lie, that I smile watching them fly past.

I live a mile from the airport. Years ago when A-10s were stationed there, I used to have the thrill of occasionally standing in my backyard and watch the A-10s do flight maneuvers...flying right over my house!

The only way for it to kill tanks is by anti tank guided bombs so wouldn’t you call every jet capable of dropping the same loads tank killers. Especially when other aircraft have more hardpoints for these bombs? The 30mm GAU on the A10 can’t even destroy modern armor instead just tear ERA and tank treads.
