- Here is my review of this incredible lightweight amp. This amp weighing in @(8.2lbs/3.7kg) punches and has tube-like characteristics that adds the necessary punch and distortion character needed for any situation.

I just found one of these used and it should be making its way to me next week. Every demo of this head that I've watched has been amazing, and yours is probably the best. I can't wait to get it in my hands!

Hello Da Maestro. You've done it again. And I also wanted to mention that in your last couple of vids, you had mentioned about the fact that sometimes Heads are built just for their own cabinets. Your so correct. You picked a good choice with the EBS, I Have two, Reidmar 250 and 750. 250 I use with a EBS 4x10 and the 750 I use with a pair of Glockenlang cabinets 2x12 on top of 1x15. Super nice vid and always perfect covering of info.👍

Thanks for the review! How’s the noise floor? Is the fan loud, does it stay on when you power the amp up?
Is there any bass amp that comes close to the EBS? I use a 250. I have a Neo 212 cab to pair with it. Best amp I’ve played. Like you, I’ve been thru a F-load. This is where I settled many years ago.
I bought a Genzler Magellan 800... returned it for the EBS. It arrives tomorrow.
The bottom screen keeps the knobs set all the way down. I’d really like to know the setting (no offense bro, sounds killer!!) I found out about EBS bass amplification from a Swedish death metal band called Hypocrisy. Their bassist plays an EBS Head and 810 cabinet and the absolute MONSTER tone he had live (look up their DVD hell over Sophia)
The reason I did that was because everyone has their own settings and sound and my setting may or may not work for your bass or please your ears. Any sound you are wanting you can get out of this head!!!!!
That thing sounds great. I love EBS. I have a Reidmar 250. Have you ever tried an Eich? Just wondering your thoughts if you have.
Haven’t had one T the shop yet but have heard great things about the Eich line.
I was between this or the Aguilar AG 700....

No sir not through the cabinets; only the lil pop you heard because I’m running direct out of the XLR out.

Any 8 or 4ohm cabinet of your choice. This amp can handle it!!!!!!!
Have you ever tried the GK 800 Watt Legacy and 800 Watt Fusion? Killer Sounds and Clarity?
No… I’ve never owned anything GK but have played out of the old 800 head years ago.

No. But I’m sure they offer a kit or you could purchase a rack shelf and install one that way.
Which eden Cab do you use with the ebs 750? The xst or xlt?

Being an engineer this might not sound crazy to you, but roll the bass all the way off on your amp, dime the mids and roll off almost all the treble and see how much more you get the natural tone from your bass.
So this amp is no good to use with an 8ohm Barefaced Big Baby 2?
Oh no... it will drive an 8ohm cabinet greatly but nothing lower than a 4ohm or no mix or matched cabinets exceeding a 4ohm load.

Yessir it can be rack-mounted.

Just Listened to Hypocrisy Band from Sweden. You cant compare this Speed Metal bands bass to this guys video bass.
