To be honest, pretty good guide. I disagree with some skills, but that’s expected due to it being more personal preference than anything ‘optimal’. I don’t think you mentioned it, but companions don’t need the skill equipped to use the ‘auto proc’ abilities. Not relevant in this case because the heal is good, if I’m doing well, I swap it out. I disagree with how you built her, though. I go Galvanized Tear, Replenish, and Time Slow. You apply weakened as a rogue, you don’t need hers and Galvanized Tear is insane as a CC ability to clump them together for your abilities. Galvanized Tear into Storms Path is disgusting AoE damage. Just as a further notice, on Nightmare difficulty, Veil Ranger (as well as staff mage) is absolutely rough. You get hard focused by all enemies, you spend more time dodging than charging your bow, and your damage is bad until higher levels. Due to this, I wouldn’t take Exploding Arrow at all. It’s lacklustre damage, has a weird animation that will get you hit, and offers nothing beyond level 5. It also synergises with nothing. Your first levels (after you can level up) should be: Evasive Maneuvers, Greater Passive, Rain of Decay. In fact, Evasive Maneuvers dash, dash, ranged attack does more damage than Exploding Arrow early game. I just tested it and both consume an arrow. Evasive Maneuvers gives you mobility, which is far better no matter what. Saves you respeccing later, tbh. This build shouldn’t require any respeccing at all. Also, early game you should use your daggers, too. Get good at parrying because it’s a free full charged headshot. Enemies will be in your face.
Would love to know your thoughts on the most straightforward nightmare difficulty build, although I know I should just play through the game first and learn its mechanics.
Depends on playstyle ofc, but i would go for this ranger build , evoker or deathcaller mage. Early it won't matter, since you just need to nail timings right to avoid enemies, but closer to an end, there is alot of very annoying range enemies and swarms of big monsters who always "red" on attacks, so my opinion is "keep distance and be fine" :)
@@tuffgong2568 go sabotage do not pick his build has no survivability and lacks dmg. Sabotage for rogue, death caller due to leech, or campion for warrior.
@@freezax4 I would have to agree. I started with a sabotage rogue and got stuck on killing dragons in nightmare difficulty. I tried this build and it was less successful than the sabotage build. Rain of Decay doesn't do squat against a nightmare high dragon...

Great video! One question: Can the swords glow/have blue effects, like cold demage, instead of the green glow? I love frost themed builds, but LOVE the rogue in this. So it would be awesome if I could have frost swords, so to speak.
Not sure of they changed it with a patch but the bow you are using is classified as a shortbow for me, not a longbow. So sadly it can only charge up to level 2
how did you make your ablitys for you chracter come out without using the wheel casue i just started the game and the only way i can use my abilitys i have to use the wheel does it change at some point when i get more skills like i can use my cahracter skills without ppping up the big wheel to use them
You will find it in chests in respective faction area. Look on top of tooltip for weapon/armour, there will be faction image. Also you will.find basic version first time, and then it upgraded with duplicatea
Over 80 thousand people on steam alone care for the game. Yall can keep hitting the Copium that the game somehow didn’t sell well in the slightest but it’s EAs #1 steam game and it’s also on top charts on consoles

@@mgonetwo I like how you pretend here that BG3 is somehow not woke when its characters try to get with you within 5 hours, there’s a trans character who’s entire personality is the fact they’re trans, drag queen, a lot of gay characters, and you’re able to do it with a bear BG3 got insane hate before its launch and somehow the narrative got switched up on it because it was too much of a success. It’s also a complete outlier because BG3 outsold nearly every game on the market. You don’t see people compare any other game to it out of sheer hate

There are a couple party members (Neve and Bellara) that have time slowing abilities.

Yeah, thats bellara time slow ability (neve got same) but you need to level it up, i show it in companion builds part

Azure bow with 24 max arrows, in endgame fights the best!
