Trick to hear what your microphone is hearing with the Tascam Model 12

Trick for delaying your audio so you can hear what the microphone hears, or what a dynamics processor is doing and not being masked by the volume of the instrument in the room. Make sure to undo these settings after you have got your mic set up.

Good one. I suppose using a high buffer size for track monitoring will work also.

Absolutely, not sure how much time your buffer goes. I’ll mess around with my DAW and see how it goes. Thanks for the tip!
