    I traveled all around the world, I have been in many "third world countries", but I have never seen anything more deplorable than the Tenderloin and some other area in downtown SF. How's it possible to tolerate anything like that? people defecating during daylight in the middle of the street, people smoking crack or using heroin openly and right in front of everybody, a brutal smell of urine at every corner, mentally disordered people and junkies begging you for money every second.
    I was traveling with my daughter, 6 years old, she was shocked, I was too, here in Italy we have never experienced anything like that.

      Björn Mätal well, Italy isn’t the final destination for those who arrives from Africa , we never had refugees camps anywhere close to urbanized area, maybe some illegal settlements but always for a short term, yes we got few troubles few years ago when the neighboring countries shut down their borders creating a choke point of migrants stuck in Italian territory, but right now the migration routes are perfectly under control, anyway comparing refugees with the Tenderloin is really spot on!!Congrats!🎉

      Hastings Street in Vancouver is bad as well but I think it's worse here! I didn't go looking for these kind of conditions either, I booked a hotel here and this was all a 'surprise'.

    Yeah, it's real out here (specifically in that area). Do not wear sandals if you plan on going to San Francisco's Tenderloin District. _Heron_ needles are indeed everywhere. One day, I called myself tryna get some exercise so I walked from Japantown to Powell St and chile... On one block, somebody done blew crack smoke in my face and then not two blocks later, somebody done blew meth smoke in my face. See, right at 1:39 is where it happened. Human beings even use the _skreets_ as toilets nowadays. It's not getting any better. The cold part about it is that the police don't do a gotdamn thing. They know the dope dealers and users. Hell, individuals slang dope in front of the police. See, there's an agenda that nobody wants to talk about. Our tax dollars fund those SRO hotels and individuals basically get high and or prostitute there. That "war on homelessness" campaign is the biggest crock of crud ever. Keep the po' folks in the Tenderloin so that they won't bother anybody in the Financial District. You can literally be at the Versace store and less than 2 minutes later, see somebody shoot up. It's an interesting contrast. Truth is, they know there's supposedly no hope out there so they basically let the dope dealers sell to the addicts hoping that they overdose and eventually die. Word on the _skreet_ is that they wanna turn San Francisco completely white & Asian and basically phase out the blacks & Latinos. #signothetimes Don't get me wrong, I'm not tryna judge the dealers & users. My gripe is w/ the fucked up government and 20 years of broken promises. They'd rather use the multi-millions of dollars for dumb shit v. tryna help the homeless. I done been to them lil' _fonky_ City Hall meetings. It's a waste of time...

      I'm from Brooklyn but was living out in San Francisco for two years. It was a complete culture shock. The city is beautiful but there was a lot of homeless people and everywhere you went it smelled like piss. Also way more expensive than NYC.

      20 years? So, after the first years of Democratic party bull, you still voted them in for years after? This is what you get, you earned it by taking away all the values that made this country decent. Since the 60s, the burn out elites from their ivory towers have been creating this shit all in the name of "diversity". I didn't know diversity meant taking a shit on the sidewalk while stumbling around in a meth or heroin coma worrying about if I have enough purple die in my hair to let everyone know how "woke" I am as I break into your car...

    I went to park a car in a garage in this neighborhood during my stay. Coming from Chicago, I thought I had seen bad. We have blocks of abandoned buildings, gangbangers on the streets, people with no jobs just chillin on the streets. And Sure we have some drug addicts mixed in. But San Francisco was insane. HALF the people on the street were fucked up. At least I can have a sane conversations with homeless and gangbangers. But cracked out druggies? Hell no. That's scarier. They have no concept of the world around them.

    I live there. But in the past year the optics have improved. The city has moved a large homeless encampment away from Civic center and hired security guards who move the street people and drug dealers a few blocks away from the central Tenderloin from 7 am to 7 pm. Of course, by 8 pm, they're all back in front of my building. Good government, right?

  • @Nakameguro97
    @Nakameguro97 3 ปีที่แล้ว

    I used to live within walking distance of this area. My personal opinion back then was, by living in SF, I end up making things worse, indirectly, through paying property and sales taxes, since it's impossible to vote out the corrupt incumbent government. So my only choice was to move out of SF - that was my conclusion 17 years ago. Today, not only has the government not changed, but they somehow managed to make living conditions even worse (thank DA Boudin and others). Back then, there was no blatant looting of stores in broad daylight, incessant breaking in of parked cars, or felons run amok throughout the City. Today, there's no consequences for personal actions, no responsibility. I'm relieved that I no longer live there, but it makes me sad to see the deterioration.

      And Taylor is the headquarters of the owl Bohemian Club warning all weaving spiders to not go there. And then from there on out it's just Illuminati Masonic banker globalist oriented with poverty and homelessness mucking all up around the UN plaza and global hub of all the Twitter feed. San Francisco could had been a true alpha class most gorgeous world city, but it turned out absolutely awful. I could imagine it was golden 40 or more years ago when housing was cheap and plentiful and the beatnik generation had the arts scene hopping. However it's now now only a hollowed out shell of it's former glory as a high culture street kind of place now void of actual culture only functioning as an open air museum. Massive greed and financial speculation only destroys communities, families, and culture eventually to bring down the super power nation to it's knees in debt default and cash flow insolvency as well as full on demoralization.

I live in Salt Lake City and the Utah Grand Lodge is just a few blocks away which I've toured and seen lots of 33rd degree Masons portraits. It's a stone Egyptian revival style of grand temple and is intertwined with the LDS church and members as well as banking, economy, and such involving these key wealthy folks.
