It's not that they not being honest...of course companies gone send them the good hair so when they do sponsored reviews it be different hair from what they actually send out.

I started to research ethical hair extensions a few years back and I realized part of the reason for the inconsistencies in hair quality is because the hair isn’t all sourced from the same place. Some companies use fallen hair from salon floors, animal hair, and they even assault women and cut their hair off. Violence against women for long hair is prevalent in some other countries. There are not always enough donors to get the amount of hair they need at the price point they want. I personally try to make sure the hair I buy is ethically sourced. I have found ethically sourced hair is better quality. It costs more so I can’t buy as much hair as I use to, but I see the difference in quality and it lasts me much longer. There are no regulations or ways of knowing if the hair actually came from where they say it’s coming from
I have two Unice wigs and neither of them came with a smell and its been a few months and Im pretty pleased but Im so sorry you had these horrible issues with it!
The company is recycling other TH-camr pictures on their website. I follow two of the girls in the site and they did NOT use those wigs from unice. They were sponsored by other companies so it’s disrespectful and I don’t think they know their faces are being used. The one I bought didn’t look like the thick texture I asked for either.
We need to do more research on what is being done to these wigs and hair. They will sell us anything no matter how harmful it is to our health and hair. Please be cautious and do research before putting anything on or in your hair.

I’ve bought 4 wigs now based on different you tuber reviews and it’s clear to me now that they are given better quality hair, different lengths and textures than what to consumers actually receive. I know they need to make money, but it is dishonest because a lot of those companies will not refund or make it very difficult to get a refund.

I would assume all the “dirtiness” she washed out was the chemical processor to make the hair “curly.” Think of when you actually perm real hair, it requires a chemical. With all the “hacks” she did: softener, vinegar, dr bronners, etc, she stripped it and it definitely won’t curl now. Personally, I never buy “2-n-1” hair/wigs bc this USUALLY comes with the territory: a chemical/chemical processor.

I know this video is a few months old but I love the wavy look this hair is giving. It looks really nice on you! 🥰😘😍 Yes some of the hair has a smell to it especially when you put heat on it or even wet it. I use hair mist too.

I can’t understand why they don’t make wigs for head circumferences smaller than 22”…all the bands do is cause bulging/gaping

I had the same experience. Awful hair. I typically order from Luv Me Hair, but I tried Unice because of the V part unit. They blend their hair with human and synthetic. The hair got so tangled and matted. With that said, thank you so much for your honest feedback.
That’s y ima stick to my sew ins / quick weaves.. I even reuse my bundles for quick weaves! When I don’t feel like doing it , I wear buns with my real hair ❤

Don’t like to hear you had a bad experience. Can you braid the hair let it fully dry a couple of days see if that brings the curls back? I personally like that wave I’m going to boil my v-part, fingers crossed I get this wave I like it.

Rants aren't just healthy for you they are healthy for your audience. I'm sorry that you were not happy with your purchase. It's amazing, I had the complete opposite situation with UNICE. I ordered a 16" full lace 613 unit 180 density. When I opened the box, I went in nose first no bad smell just the most minute hint of the bleaching process. The smell if it had one was not going to be an issue since I needed a silver gray wig (which are so difficult to find especially since I have naturally snow white early gray--started at the age of 16, snow by 45). Customer service was decent and shipping time to delivery was amazingly fast. Will I order from them again? I don't think so, there are far too many steps in trying to get the silver gray that I want. There is a problem that I do have with them and that is the constant texts, upwards of 5 a day even if I haven't placed an order.
I had the same issue with an AliExpress vendor! Every time I wash the hair I see the brown water but I got rid of the smell but I had to was it with herbal essence like 6 times
Hey girl! Thanks for your review and the update from your experience. I can’t imagine ordering something that I’ll be so excited about to only discover that it has a foul smell. I’m actually surprised that you didn’t notice that the smell sooner…. I would definitely reach out to the hair company and let them know your experience and have them send you another one and this time just cold wash it and have it soak in very very hot water with silicon mix conditioner. I’m sure the baking soda and the vinegar stripped away at the hair. Let us know your outcome if you receive another wig from this company.
yeh, I smelled it most when I went to wash it on day 2. Day one I wore it for an hour or so just to get the kids from school. I smelled something weird but when that water hit it....completly FOUL!
I know the exact smell you're talking about!!! Another wig company called LUVME HAIR and that smell will not come out, it looks good but smells horrible. I guess that's how the TH-camrs get paid off the look instead of the one thing you cant sense until the have your sale and money: (the smell). Thank you for this!

Ive tried every curl pattern they have on that site thinking maybe it was just the last batch …. It all gets matted and YES it’s dirty because my water was also dirty !!!! And it’s not the color coming off !

bought from unice a year ago and the hair was not curly at all!! I was looking at reviews on youtube and the curly were curly and thick from root to tip, but when mine came it there was no curl it looked more like waves and the hair was very VERY thin at the ends. I was so disappointed, it was my first time buying bundles and I saved up to buy those but they ended up being un wearable

They say the offer refund you should request one. I tried to order a wig on Mem Weekend and for some odd reason my PayPal payment came out of my acct but was pending on their page for payment for 6 days so I asked to refund and they did.

The curls are gone because you boiled a natural hair wig. The hair curl pattern is made with a steam process that you partially reversed. You can’t be mad about that.
I ordered a v part from them. I didn't have the smell but the cap was ultra large and no I do not have a small head and the combs hurt my head. I'm so over these wigs.
I just got w a wig from them it was terrible and the box it came in was dirty and had fingerprints on it the wig was way to big for my head and Rhein. I believe that they sent me a wig that was already worn! I will never do business with them again
There's always a chance with buying hair some hair you have to wash first but based on price vs LuvMe Unice in my opinion is superior. I didn't have to wash mine but I'm so sorry this happened
Not sure where you went wrong sis but I love unice v part wigs. Hell, my curls won't wash away. What I can say is, after 2 weeks.. it look more natural to me.

I order from unice all the time and I'm not a TH-camr. I started ordering from Amazon first then just started ordering directly from the site. She did toooo much she should've just sent it back. Unfortunately some folks have bad experiences

I've purchased 2 wigs 1 from Nadula and 1 from Unice based off of TH-camrs... I was very disappointed both times!!!

The smell if it had one was not going to be an issue since I needed a silver gray wig (which are so difficult to find especially since I have naturally snow white early gray--started at the age of 16, snow by 45). Customer service was decent and shipping time to delivery was amazingly fast. Will I order from them again? I don't think so, there are far too many steps in trying to get the silver gray that I want. There is a problem that I do have with them and that is the constant texts, upwards of 5 a day even if I haven't placed an order.

I had the same issue with an AliExpress vendor! Every time I wash the hair I see the brown water but I got rid of the smell but I had to was it with herbal essence like 6 times
Hey girl! Thanks for your review and the update from your experience. I can’t imagine ordering something that I’ll be so excited about to only discover that it has a foul smell. I’m actually surprised that you didn’t notice that the smell sooner…. I would definitely reach out to the hair company and let them know your experience and have them send you another one and this time just cold wash it and have it soak in very very hot water with silicon mix conditioner. I’m sure the baking soda and the vinegar stripped away at the hair. Let us know your outcome if you receive another wig from this company.
yeh, I smelled it most when I went to wash it on day 2. Day one I wore it for an hour or so just to get the kids from school. I smelled something weird but when that water hit it....completly FOUL!

I know the exact smell you're talking about!!! Another wig company called LUVME HAIR and that smell will not come out, it looks good but smells horrible. I guess that's how the TH-camrs get paid off the look instead of the one thing you cant sense until the have your sale and money: (the smell). Thank you for this!

Ive tried every curl pattern they have on that site thinking maybe it was just the last batch …. It all gets matted and YES it’s dirty because my water was also dirty !!!! And it’s not the color coming off !
Most of the wigs I’ve gotten from Amazon have a strong stench that’s very hard to get out.

Dang that is messed up! I would be hot too! 🤬 I’ve ordered a few v-partwigs from Unice and never had any issues. They were curlier/kinkier textures though but to send you a dirty used wig is absurd! They are really going to lose customers from doing mess like this smh. 🤦🏾♀️ I’m appalled.

You ain’t never lied! I just got the same one and it smells. I washed it THOROUGHLY and it still smells like a dead rat.

bought from unice a year ago and the hair was not curly at all!! I was looking at reviews on youtube and the curly were curly and thick from root to tip, but when mine came it there was no curl it looked more like waves and the hair was very VERY thin at the ends. I was so disappointed, it was my first time buying bundles and I saved up to buy those but they ended up being un wearable

They say the offer refund you should request one. I tried to order a wig on Mem Weekend and for some odd reason my PayPal payment came out of my acct but was pending on their page for payment for 6 days so I asked to refund and they did.
they definitely offer refunds. My 2nd video shares how they gave me all kinds of options once they found out that I posted this video.

The curls are gone because you boiled a natural hair wig. The hair curl pattern is made with a steam process that you partially reversed. You can’t be mad about that.
But they should include that in the description. I just checked and it doesn’t say that. I nearly ordered thinking the hair would retain its curls.

I just got w a wig from them it was terrible and the box it came in was dirty and had fingerprints on it the wig was way to big for my head and Rhein. I believe that they sent me a wig that was already worn! I will never do business with them again

There's always a chance with buying hair some hair you have to wash first but based on price vs LuvMe Unice in my opinion is superior. I didn't have to wash mine but I'm so sorry this happened

Not sure where you went wrong sis but I love unice v part wigs. Hell, my curls won't wash away. What I can say is, after 2 weeks.. it look more natural to me.

I order from unice all the time and I'm not a TH-camr. I started ordering from Amazon first then just started ordering directly from the site. She did toooo much she should've just sent it back. Unfortunately some folks have bad experiences
True I believe that nobody is perfect and even in her video she claims they asked her to take the video down and send her half her money and a new wig she’s just tryna be a troll
At the end of the day there’s good criticism and bad and then there’s a line when you stop downing peoples products because for you it didn’t work
I definitely would not put something that dirty on my skin or scalp. But I am glad she reported the issue so others can be aware.
