Fun rainbow fact: if you look at old paintings of rainbows it doesn’t have the same amount of colors as in modern depictions of rainbows. They had 3 maybe 4 colors, instead of the modern 6 colors 🌈🏳️🌈 I’m not gonna explain the reason why or how it changed. But factually, old painted depictions of rainbows had at most only 3 to 4 colors: -green 💚 - yellow 💛 - magenta/ vine red🍷❤️ And the rare -blue 💙 But at some point scientists documented the remaining colors, and then purple became an easy to obtain color. So now we can all paint the rainbow in this short video. Hurrah for chemistry and science 🎊 🎉
And a tip if you're concerned about letting paint go to waste, you don't necessarily need to apply it to a swatch board. Just apply from the tube directly to the brush very carfully you can even get the bristles into the spout just to get a small bit. Don't worry about the bristles getting messed up it will be fine
