This is actually a lifesaver because a friend asked me for a transforming Optimus Prime but the only one I found has over 125 individual parts to print so I’ll be better off using this one.
As a toy designing 3d printing enthusiast myself, this is awesome. I've done a lot of ball joint design and have had the most success with both assembly and keeping the joint tight if I make the ball and socket the exact same size (no added tolerance) but put a relief cut in the middle of the ball so it acts like a spring keeping itself tensioned... PLA will wear itself down with repeated use and at some point I really need to test with some other materials to see if their wear resistance is better.

the red series are figures that aren't supposed to transform, but to have better articulation, which the RED series failed at, thus why it failed. anyways good work bro! you've subsequently created an affordable missing link!
The RED series would've faild anyway cause they are transformers, and transformers that don't transform is kike buying a car that has non rotating wheels, or buying a boat that's not made to float on water.

In the Dummy13 community, when the joints go loose they suggest to coat the joint with some glue. After it dries, put it back on. It gets tight again

Try PETG, others use abs, but ive heard its not as great for you printer, good luck finding your own stuff!
I feel the runners make it look more professional than a toy. To lessen friction use a pencil to coat the joints with graphite.
