Homocord Profile:
German Shellac label operating under this name between 1924 and 1932 (renamed from Homokord).
In March 1926, Homocord started to record electrically, and the records were marketed with the addition "Electro".
In 1932, the label was taken over by the Carl Lindström A.-G.
The studio orchestra was the Homocord Orchester.
The matrix allows to date a recording (the release date however can be much later):
It usually features a letter - (digit -) digit - letter combination (e.g. A15B or CA9W)
The first letter indicates the recording month (A to M)
The numbers indicate the recording day (1 to 31)
The last letter indicates the recording year (B to W).
The recording years are starting in 1924 with letter B:
B = 1924; A = 1925; W = 1926.
The recording day is given with one or two numbers between 1 and 31.
The recording month starts with A for January and increases:
A = January; B = February; C = March; D = April; E = May; F = June; G = July; H = August; J = September; K = October; L = November; M = December.
I was not used.
So, A15B would mean a recording on 15 January 1924, and C9W on 9 March 1926. The system was given up after 1926.
