In 1968 my whole family road together on various different bikes. One weekend my uncle showed up with a new 1968 DT-1. I was 15 yrs old and I couldn’t believe how cool it was. He let me ride it and I was hooked by 1969 I had one and many more after that. Somethings you never forget when and where you were when it happens. He was riding a bsa 441 victor before that so he put the shifter on the right side. So I had to take it real easy because that messed me up a little. Love the video
The year I was born and started riding in 74 at 6 years ago. This is my 50th year of riding. I did 24 years of racing and have had 41 new ones and 128 used ones and still ride today. Thanks for sharing.
When I was a teen (early 70s…) my dad somehow came home with a 360 and a 90. I guess they were just enduros? My older brother and I rode the socks off those things. The 360 sat about 30 years and we cleaned the plug, but some gas in the tank and oiled the cylinder a bit and it was running in a few kicks and my stepson started riding it.
That's cool. They also made MX 360 models and two year's YZ 360. The 90 had an MX model, for only one year. I would have to see pictures / vin number to determine if yours were Enduros or not. www.legends-yamaha-enduros.com
