A majority of us watched them on glee and fell in love with them there and you can see how much passion and intensity and chemistry and just laughter and joy they bring to each other off screen and I really think that's what made finn/rachel so believable as well. I also can say a majority of us may not know them personally but you can seriously see and feel how smitten they are towards each other and how their personalities are so similar yet in some ways even opposite which ends up complimenting one another. Just by watching them all this time I think we sorta do tend to feel that we really know them, which is fun to watch and why we all felt the impact of his loss. You can tell she's definitely born a broadway girl, full of spark and charisma and he's very funny and silly a bit more laid back. His eyes and body language just was always screaming Lea when they're together, especially when he's talking about her and you can definitely tell she was very reciprocal as well but I also think watching these clips and having Cory by her side she has a lot of confidence in herself and you can tell Leas very comfortable in her skin and independent and you can see a lot of Cory feeding off of that but I think a lot of her personality and how she acts and behaves and seems to be so self assured and has this really positive self image is because of her feeding off of him quite a bit too and how special they makes each other feel, they're very symbiotic. They seem to bring out the best in each other. I can only imagine how they were off camera just one on one , I'm sure we ALL CAN LOL, I bet very fun and intense and intimate. Without even knowing him or her for that matter, he's one person I look back at and really really wish he didn't have to pass away especially how he did and when! Death usually tends to always be very sudden and/or unexpected with someone his age so it really was a sad and hard blow.. He seemed very special to the world and it really would of been amazing to see what he would of become and see what their relationship could of turned into even further onward! You don't see love like that everyday and it was wonderful how open they were with it even if it was unknowing to them, most celebs are more private and can hold back a lot in public but not Monchelle lol, even if they tried it's apparent so they shared something very beautiful. Not sure when or even why I decided to revisit my Gleek years (OG stan here) but I found myself hurting for Cory/Monchele like it’s 2013 all over again 😢 they were into each other, so in love and I love how they were friends first, best friends really and then they became bf/gf ❤ it hurts to remember but I can’t help but smile because I know Lea’s in a great place rn, I’m sure she’s happy w her husband (😩) and her sweet little boy, but I will always remember and cherish Monchele, it’s just something that I refuse to give up and let go of. it’s honestly so strange to think that cory just isn’t here anymore and i can’t believe its almost been 7 whole years. all the stuff he never got to experience or witness. so surreal to think whilst lea’s moved on with a new love ( so happy for her ), lea was cory’s last love and that’s how it will always be. imagine if lea’s kids in the future watch glee or somehow come across videos of her and cory and never know how in love they were.
