  • In this video I wanted to show you how easy it is to create your own custom layers and splits in the Roland Juno-Gi. Don't be afraid to try this, because it will allow you to get a much bigger sound by stacking your favorite sounds.

Ed, I'm very impressed with your knowledge of this kind of tech. I'm planning to sign up for keyboarding lessons and the Roland Juno Gi will be my first keyboard. I'm convinced this is the best quality and utilizing your tutorials will help me to enjoy it all the more.
    Keep up the great work.

Thanks Ed for another very informative and interesting vid on the Juno Gi. (I just hope that Roland are paying you lots of money for your great work!) ~ After watching your vid on chord memory I have found that choosing the style of music is very important to making really great quality chord sounds, which I'm sure will come in very handy when I get more adventurous. Thanks again Ed for your help and keep up the great work.

Wow! Made it very easy to split! Now the thing I don’t know how to do is adding effects. I use bass on left side and trombone 2 on right and for some reason the trombones sound dry. And how can I use 2 cables live. 1 for bass and 1 for trombones!

Nice tutorial! Can I save a layered style as a favorite? I also want to save a favorite to a split, I'm not sure if that's possible.

    Hi, great vid!
I'm using a Juno Gi with another external midi controller and I want to create a patch that allows me to split the layers between the two keyboards simultaneously (BUT NOT split down the middle)
Can this be done? Need urgent help please!!

I just purchased an EV-5 pedal. Do you know how to assign that pedal to specific layers and splits? Would be a great help if you know how.
    Thanks,
    Taylor

Unfortunately not to my knowledge. This keyboard was produced before we had the ability to share sounds easily. However, you have plenty of onboard waveforms to create your own custom doings and save them.
