Wow, i love this conversation, you guys just confirmed all the similar ideas, thoughts and revelations I've had in the last few months. I broke free from a Jehovah's witness indoctrination/mindset a couple years ago and I've been on a spiritual journey since then trying to discover real spiritual truths. Thank you guys for this🙌
I have felt that very feeling when words just come to you effortlessly, and when you seem to be great at everything you do, and you feel your intelligence or intuition skyrockets effortlessly. But I fell off from that because I got distracted by people around me and that very same type of person talked about here in this talk, the types that call everything demonic that doesn’t fit with the religion they’ve been sold and indoctrinated into. But I’m glad to hear about it more hear so that I can get back on the right path.
We have to read the Bible and pray so we can have a relationship with Jesus. People make mistakes especially in the church today but God doesn’t. We need to draw near to God love people and not conform to the world. I’m happier now that I help other people like giving toys to children in the hospital and helping the homeless. I have had angels talk to me in my dreams sometimes even demons so I know God is real. I agree that most people in the church aren’t doing any good works and makes me wonder if they are saved but if I tell them the good things I do they say you can’t get saved through works like as an excuse because they aren’t doing anything good! Some people in the church help others but not as many as you would think. I agree If your really changed on the inside you love others!

The bible does not lie..our Lord is not a liar...he came to save us..as a Christian...who struggled with many things in life..I tell you truthfully..when God heals you..touches u..he really changes you..I'm not the to claim prosperity ...I believe in humility,masculine and down to earth behaviorism...BUT I tel you Chrstianity is no to boast or judge or anything..some people do that in the name of Christianty...BUT it's a sin...God doesn't want to hurt u or belittle you or harm you..He wants the best for us ..weather it be in our suffering,success,joy,pain..believe me when I tell you that Our God will avenge you..just be holy and try to be good ...coz our trying matters ..our obedience matters..once you become a true believer nothing inthis world matters..and u become a genuine loving caring person.

As an ex religious practicing Jew, I had an insane disillusionment from religion. The insanity of the meticulos following of all the rules in the Bible and the thousand additions by the rabbis as “protective fences”. You literally have to bless god after taking a dump “Blessed is the lord who formed the bodily orifices” or you’re a sinner. You’re not allowed to eat non kosher, no electricity/writing/carrying stuff in public on Saturdays and Holidays. Yet they preach every Saturday the “love your neighbour” stuff, while demanding 10% charity, full afherence to the laws, daily 3 prayers in a minyan (min 10 men must pray together). It’s non stop brainwashing cult. They don’t care about faith or belief as xtians, the only thing what matters to “god” is the precise following of laws and rituals over and over and over. You are encouraged to question everything, yet if you really do so, you’re a heretic. There’s no afterlife, god will punish you immediately at the spot for your sins. Xtianity is “the diet version of Judaism”, I’m so happy for everyone who escaped and left behind any ford of cult aka. religion.

If I wasn’t introduced to this stuff through my girlfriend, I may have had a similar reaction to these people in the comments. It does sound a little whacky when you first hear it, especially with zero context.
Same reason many hated Jesus and eventually crucified him, what he taught wasn't the norm, it wasn't what they were programmed to believe about God through their religious leaders. It's exactly the same today, nothing has really changed, we've resorted back to relying on pharisaical teachers for "spiritual knowledge" believing it's truth
I get what he's saying about there should be some sort of good works as evidence for salvation. But beware that you don't lead people down a path of relentless self examination that leads to fear and doubt of salvation. Because the only certainty we can have of being saved is Jesus Christ Himself and what He did for us, not what we do for Him.
I don't know why we overcomplicate Christianity and reject it for reasons that miss the point entirely. There are two places we can eternally rest in after death: Heaven or Hell. Jesus is clearly quoted in the Gospels as saying no one gets to the Father except going through him (I'm not sure why no one answered this guy's question with that very well known verse). Therefore, if you don't accept Jesus as your savior, you can't go to Heaven, and if you don't go to Heaven, there's only one other place that remains for you to go to. That's it; it's not that freakin' difficult. Now if you're wondering why we need to accept Jesus in the first place, it's because the spiritual/unseen realm is 1000x more complex than what we can understand in this dimension. Humans' default afterlife destination is Hell. For reasons that go beyond human comprehension, a perfect blood sacrifice was required to restore our bridge to Heaven. Jesus willingly got tortured to death to fulfill this prophesy and went to Hell for a few days to do whatever was needed to complete the path. Today, you can accept Jesus's sacrifice (and repent) free of charge to reap all the benefits. Whether or not you understand or believe this arrangement does nothing to change the fact that it is true. So even if you've met someone evil who called themselves a Christian and maybe mistreated you, it does NOTHING to impact any of the stuff I just mentioned. Even if you've met 10,000 people in your life who called themselves Christian, and they were all pieces of crap, you would still be an absolute fool to reject Jesus's gift and condemn yourself because some morons gave you a bad impression of the faith. The actions of mere mortals, no matter what they call themselves, could not be less relevant to making the decision to accept Jesus as your savior. It breaks my heart that there are people who have been victimized by fake Christians, and therefore have abandoned the faith. The sad reality is that only did that perpetrator damage you in this life, you've let them ruin you in the next life too.
I see the big difference, Abrhamic relegion is all about believe this and that, and Hinduism is all about seeking. All the God's who came, they were all question why we convince you are God? This is beauty of Hinduism it's most liberal and way of life> then relegion.

Personally I always had a very positive experience with Christianity and found its doctrine sound to me, but I understand that was not the experience of everyone. I believe Paul's message was necessary for Christianity to organize itself and survive, since Jesus gave the message but the structure was developed by Apostles such as Paul and Peter.
Coming from a Muslim, I wouldn’t say All religion’s are a “cult”, religion itself is just the content of beliefs. It’s the followers who can choose to manipulate scripture and brutalise it upon the world. All I know is the Quran itself tells us to “spread the message” as a part of our duty and if the message is rejected then we don’t pry further and respect relations for it is not man who can mould u into a believer, it is by the will of Allah.

It can be a lonely path for a time brother. I had to cut a lot of folks out of my life once I got serious about my spiritual growth
