There are indeed some prerequisites for that specific module, it is Invoicing and Mail (As stated on the custom module site apps.odoo.com/apps/modules/16.0/base_accounting_kit/ , in App Dependencies field). As for the module that allows us to enter vendors and customers, it's named Contact and it is available out-of-the-box for free in Odoo 16 community edition, so you can just click Activate button on the Apps page. Shouldn't a prerequisite be an app that allows you to enter your customer contacts? Which module allows you to enter vendors, and customers etc?
