theme suggestion that only works for broken phone with no pictures: everyone is given the same starting prompt, completely identical, to see whether the resulting stories will be similar to each other or drastically different based entirely on each person's improv
Fun fact: I played this when going to sleep, and decided to watch when I woke up... I fell asleep again and thought I had a playlist going because I heard more books... Turns out I had fallen asleep and dreamed about hearing incomprehensible books. Mostly involving Dan for some reason
Broken (Picture)Phone is always a gold mine for potential Memorable Moments. Here's a few good suggestions: (13:16-14:37) -- Brandon ruins a book, Alex saves it. (17:40-18:26) -- waffles. (20:04-20:39, 21:05-21:46) -- Frank's many wives. (27:23-28:32) -- Emmy closes the fridge, Hayley opens it again.
Every time Stephen has to swear, he sounds like he's choking. But the cliffhanger! ALL of the cliffhangers! So many random non-sequiturs that are just consistently by accident. High point is probably Dan having to write an entire section with his only prompt being "waffles."
28:30 "What do you do with 'You are being hunted by the Obscure TV Show Serial Killer'?" Probably something like "He did not heed my warning, and his body was found by the pier in the same pose as the victim of the Justin Bieber episode of CSI. Chris had become the next victim of the Obscure TV Show Serial Killer." But completely changing the topic works for a great laugh, too.
Chicago is my favourite US city when I visit, so liking that it came into multiple books. Does the Shedd Aquarium not far from the Bean count as a dolphin prison? Also yes you should all collaborate on a sci-fi story, speaking as a published sci-fi author...
I know they’re saying no themes, but Dan’s book had me thinking they could try an episode where they all start their books off as bad fanfiction prompts. Could be funny! :D
consider: broken picturephone (or phone) but you all only use emojis to tell the story. idk how that would work but i believe in all of u (this is mostly a joke)
I wanted to ask for a broken phone episode that is only emoji, but I then realized that nothing would make any sense and there would be no semblance of story.
What if you guys made five people and each person starts a "chapter" of each book and try to make a coherent story using Broken Phone? E.g. let's say you guys make Link, Mario, Garfield, Ganondorf, and Stephen and say Mal starts the Prologue but Stephen starts chapter 5? Maybe at the beginning mention what chapter it's in.
Excuse me Stephen. As a born and raised Hoosier I take offense to your no Indiana dolphins remark. Some of my best Indiana friends are dolphins. A dolphin does my taxes.
Emmy closed the fridge, and then Hayley opened it right back up. I love it.
17:55 Literally the last person I would've expected to slam the fridge closed but that was amazing Mal! Also: Waffles.

Paul's seriously become a major agent of chaos in the past few episodes of this.
Mal is oddly chaotic when doing these picturephones.
17:55 This is literally the best response I have ever seen in Broken Picturephone I'm dead LMAO

Honestly most reams about broken picture phone or broken phone would make about as much sense as an actual episode.
17:56 Mallory slamming shut the fridge

Totally agree with all of these, especially Frank's Wives. Maybe at least 20:40.

Alex closed that fridge in the most extreme way
AND MAL-
Damn, the Frank book with three wives was absolutely insane xD Might be the best broken phone creation ever
Frank, Margaret, Linda, and Alice must all be in a very loving and supportive polygamous relationship.
I don't know. Linda faked her own death so it might not be loving on her part
frank married margeret thinking linda was dead and was married to alice in real life
Omg you guys need to keep putting multiple names into your books. It creates the most hysterical situations lol
Thank you, Dan. You have blessed us.

I don't know what it is about "he grew up and went west" that's so funny to me, but it is
I love these stories. They are almost all insane and both make sense and don't at the same time.
That first book was some serious fanfiction there.
Someone needs to animate Frank, Margaret, Linda and Alice into the Demon Slayer animation style of the dude with the 3 wives. XD
Tengen Uzui is who you're thinking of

Indiana Jones and The Twilight Princess.
How could you do this to Becca
It’s fine™️ I’m just feeling like a turnip bumpkin :V
Can we please get Stephen's dolphin sounds in memorable moments
8:02 I'm assuming that this will happen on the next stream, now that this video is live.
"Japan's tracks were dry" lmao
a funny thing for a theme for a broken phone episode would be mixing a game with a movie.
is the secret theme to end with a pun?
Is the protagonist for Paul's story Frank Costanza?
I wanted to ask for a broken phone episode that is only emoji, but I then realized that nothing would make any sense and there would be no semblance of story.
So, a lot like it is now?
The last person who asked got his answer.

Is flipping the bean a euphemism? I thought it was flicking
...I have been misreading the title as "Midna and Ham."
I think the end result was better.
Next theme: Emojis only.
And Dan kept it in.
they should have Sci Fi D and D on the Channel!
we need a story about the coming of peggy in 2033

They go from Greta to Midna
stephen swear count #42
Waffles
Please use bad words more often on these, so I can hear Mal say them
master chief
waffles.
In the Waffle House story, it should have been "WikiWaffle" and "WaffleTube" research.
