So, having nothing better to do with my time I went through and scrapped this together on Moxfield card for card getting all the foils nice and correct and in doing so, found it quite surprising that you are using the commander 2014 Sylvan Safekeeper instead of a foil Judgment version, as it being an old border foil definitely fits. But anyway, for others interested in the total value, as of 1/19/2022 it is $21,453.56

These videos are sick. I’m slowly buying all the new expeditions for my decks. While they’re slightly less cool they’re like a 3rd of the price, especially the fetches.
It look exactly like my decklist but... you've got them in foil, and that's so fantastic O.O I recommand you Guardian Augmenter that enter the battlefield as a Snakeskin veil (+1/+1 and hexproof / +2/+2 to your commander) This is one of the best way to protect against a red color deck. After, you can play a Terror of the Peaks instead of bigs Eldrazi, it's an additionnal Purphoros effect, and a good body. I add more protection against blue decks and wrath in my decklist, it's better in my opinion ;-) But your list is insane and beautiful !
Fantastic! I enjoy the theme of it all. As an Animar player though I have to ask. Why dont you run Great Henge, Hardened Scales and Vorinclex, Monsterous Raider?
It looks like most of the deck is based around the competitive deck list for Animar which doesn't run those cards, they are technically to slow. However they are fun to play in the deck, I can't argue that.
Personally in my opinion if I build a deck I’ll put the most efficient and synergistic cards in the deck, foil or not. It’s cool to go all foil don’t get me wrong. I just want to play the cards and have a good time

Appears to be just a pub stomping machine lol Beautiful deck. Did you grab it off the cedh ddb then make enough bad changes that people couldn’t accuse you of playing cedh? I’m a huge fan of this list. I’m sure I sound like a dick but I mean it literally.. what games are you playing this in? Do you play in a super specific meta with like an optimized Krenko, a near cedh Yuriko, and a budget cedh Kinnan list? Something like that?
The new version of Animar is actually playable in CEDH (Tier 1.5 mini) because we get a lot of powerfull protection cards. I can say that I agree with you, it's too powerful for my local store too x) It's like an achievement for players now he he But, trust me, Animar came back in the Cedh meta ;-)
@@JaYenKo I can absolutely see Animar in cEdh. Especially now that the meta has shifted into a lot of stax and midrange decks. It’s not fast enough for a turbo meta but I bet it stomps on stax… but THIS version specifically the one in this video is not quite a cedh list, right? I mean there are some very suss card choices if we are going for max power and efficiency. If this was “brewed in captivity”, not a collaboration and not taken off the cedh ddb then modified a little bit then it’s a great job by a talented deck builder. But it still won’t be as good as a version brewed by a team of cedh players on discord, for instance. Hats off if this was the brain child of one brewer. If it’s an attempt at a cedh list I would hate to say it but prob just find the Animar cedh discord. One person is no match for a community of brewers. Again.. very cool deck! I think I’d cut the burgeoning, exploration, simulacrum, and the eldrazis.. I also think you’d want the green 5 mana instant that tutors two creatures and maybe Barron Master Wizard or some other way to combo off w dockside? I don’t play the deck but I’d guess a cedh version would be very close to this but with maybe 6 or 7 swaps. I’m sure this would be fine in the current cedh meta but there are some cards missing and some worse cards you just don’t really need. The first time I saw this I was lower on the list than I am now though. I think it’s closer than I originally thought to cEdh viable. In fact it prob is viable in this form but there are some pretty easy card swaps to make. Maybe this is a dumb thing to say but I don’t know if this deck even wants sol ring/crypt??? I know that’s absurd but if you think about the curve out and sequencing I honestly think I’d rather add more ways to get turn two Animar and I would personally cut at least sol ring… that sounds like lunacy.. take that w a grain I could be wrong about that. in any case, this list is close but I don’t know if it is quite there for cedh.. maybe I’m wrong though
@@NewSchoolPOKERstrat you dont want colorless mana. You want fast colored mana. Elvish and simian spirit guard. Moxes. That kinda stuff. Less artifacts than creatures. Then combo off with cloudstone curio, ancestral statue, dockside, walking ballista for instance
