Theoretically possible yes, I had to think about that one a bit haha. If you attach a filter to your lens (that has a forward/external thread, allowing you to stack more filters), then you can screw the clamp adapter ring onto the filter that's attached to your lens. THEN, you'd clamp the matte box to the clamp adapter ring. Your mileage may vary depending on your specific setup, but theoretically yes (just be careful not to accidentally bind those filters together from all of those different threads tightening down).
Hey brotha awesome video, is there an alternative brand you would recommend for that "allure" 1/8 black mist filter for the Sony zv e1? Besides a matte box? Just got the camera wondering as that's probably one that id use most, and in your opinion is this something Youd recommend or is separate Nd filters just as good or continent? Also what do the MM behind these nd filters represent in them? From doing some light research dive. Also want to note i watched your freewell k2 video, does that have this 1/8 black mist filter style? I like how its more mobile friendly. thanks dude!
Definitely makes it a bit front heavy, the matte box weighs almost 3 pounds, so it’s best paired w prime lenses, but definitely manageable! I’m creeping into shoulder rig territory though 😂
