Re the shovel stored below. That reminds me of a story! The Buchans plateau in central Newfoundland has tremendous snow fall, so much so that cabin owners in that remote area make a point of tying the snow shovel onto the stove pipe on the roof, when they arrive at the cabins in the winter months, often the little cabins are completely snowed under , the only thing visible is the stove pipe and the attached snow shovel.... Thats very practical, but sure looks funny in the summer season with no snow...
I liked the 2k generator--though loud and a bit awkward, it worked well and was inexpensive, however, it stopped working a few months later (it was about four years old at that point) and I'm considering getting a newer, quieter one. This was the fifth portable gasoline generator that I've had aboard.
Hi Richard, I have seen the technical information about Damien II Joubert models but can't find about the headroom across the boat, can you give some insight about it? Best Regards.
Hi Rafael, I suspect the headroom is not consistent among the various Damien II boats as built, because most were for owner completion, so it depended on how they completed it (how much insulation overhead, what height the cabin sole was put at). On Issuma, the headroom is 6'/183cm in the pilothouse and area aft of the v-berth. The headroom in the forepeak is less (but that's a storage area). Richard
