Japan is such an awesome place. As someone who is half Japanese and half European, I can relate to the Japanese culture yet also view it as a foreigner. Honestly one of the coolest places you will ever visit!!

Not joking, you should see for yourself. If you're a good looking American, Caucasian, or a good looking foreigner of a more, 'fair' skinned complexion, and/or have a nice body (ripped, buff, swole as hell), you'll be popular as hell.
Basically, if you can pull chicks pretty decently in your home country, chances are, you'll have that much more success.

I'd like to know your sources. Muscular guys aren't considered as attractive as lean/slim guys in Japan, same as a girl showing lots of skin and dressing sexy is not as attractive as a modest/cute dressed girl.
There are gaijin-hunters who look for westerners to date but they aren't the majority and for every girl you manage to score, you will be rejected lots of times unless you can speak fluent Japanese.
It's quite funny actually, in the west where guys who do their hair, wear accessories and wear tighter clothes are considered "gay", in Japan the big muscular men are often considered "gay"

I like the traditional Japan, especially their food and relationship towards food. When you see the last of the really old people, who still live with nature and grow their own vegetables in their gardens and stuff, that is inspiring and amazing. The new Japan just seems weird as hell.
It became very much westernized, that's why it's so different and doesn't feel like old Japan. Just hoping their true culture doesn't die off and this will stay in the cities only. I like the new Japan but I also like the old one. I don't want either to stop existing.
