    Thanks for another great idea. Kimberly, you (and your camera person) do a great job on the videos. Also, thanks for giving us a second quilt to make with the triangles. A good suggestion on how to use up all the 'extra' fabric with so little work.

    I love all of your tools! Having the right tools really does making quilting so much more efficient. And, your quilts are beautiful, too : )

    Of all of the short cuts FatQuarterShop has done, I really like the fat1/8 Frenzy and the bonus segment that uses all of the left over fabric.. Happy New Year. P.S. Looking forward to quilting mine when it comes in the mail.

    Kimberly must be using a Pilot Frixion pen to mark the fabric as she said it would disappear when ironed. She did not mention the name of it. Frixion pens are awesome for sewing! (And for writing!)

      Yes I use a Frixion pen all the time in my sewing room and studio. They are one of my favorite notions. Thanks for watching!

    Love this quilt. I was just looking for a quilt pattern that I could use for all my bumble bee quilt because I want the pieces to be big enough to show the fabrics. This is it. Just wondering what the completed size of the quilt is.

      Hello Maureen! The finished quilt size is 48.5" x 56.5" www.fatquartershop.com/fat-eighth-frenzy-quilt

    What is your favorite pressing board Kimberly?

    • @FatQuarterShopTX
      @FatQuarterShopTX  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Kirstin - for my filming studio I like to use the June Tailor Cutting and Pressing Mat like is shown in this video. You can find it here: amzn.to/10jfeo5 However, when I am at home I have a custom built ironing table that is rather large that I like to use. Thanks for your question.

    do you have a video of how to sew the back of the quilt...all these videos shows the front side only...and the trimmings too...i need a video of how to finish making the quilt blanket...

      @FatQuarterShopTX  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Zarinah - we actually do not yet have a video filming the piecing of the quilt back. We have received numerous requests to do so and this is something you can look forward to in the near future. Thanks!

    I'm fairly new to quilting, never heard of using the starch, is it necessary?

    • @FatQuarterShopTX
      @FatQuarterShopTX  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      No, its not necessary, purely optional. We like to use it because it
      keeps our fabrics from stretching and distorting when working with it.

    • @vedabrunero2214
      @vedabrunero2214 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It really does help if you are working with bias edges as it helps to prevent stretching.

    Is it possible to use 6 and a half inch strips?

    • @FatQuarterShopTX
      @FatQuarterShopTX  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ronda Roll You can follow the techniques taught in the video with a 6 1/2" strip but the measurements will be off. The quilt will end up even smaller. Thanks for your question.
