Metroid pinball uses 5 buttons (left, right, shoot, regular bomb, power bomb), so it'd be hard to play sideways, and optionally uses the touchscreen to bump the table. Peach uses the touchscreen pretty frequently in some levels. They're both playable, but definitely lose something in translation. I think perhaps my favorite DS game on this device might be Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow patched with the no-touchscreen-required hack.
