- Do you want the most aggressive sound for your C63 AMG whilst sticking to the stock aesthetic? Checkout this H-Pipe & Secondary Cat Delete setup!
After upgrading from the factory open differential to the Wavetrac LSD (more on that here: • Wavetrac LSD Upgrade o... ) this customer wanted to improve the sound and see what we could do on top of the stage 1 remap already installed.
This customer opted for the Supersprint H-Pipe which replaces the factory centre silencer with an unsilenced H-Pipe design which releases more of the exhaust note and smooths the tone.
At the same time as the H-Pipe install we also upgraded from the factory paper air filters to BMC Cotton Gauze filters for improved flow and installed our ECU remap which optimised horsepower and torque.
Stock Output = 472HP & 411lbfts
Max Gains = +16HP & +50lbfts
Peak Gains = +9HP & 16lbfts
Max Output = 481HP & 427lbfts

@@RegalAutosport I can imagine, I am looking out for one also, going to take a look at one in a couple of days, grey estate with performance wheels, and has the miltek secondary cat delete and backbox, also already the remap and bmc air filter good for 530hp. Looks in good condition also. Can't wait!

I believe the standard the stock resonator is more or less like a H-pipe anyway and doesn't actually silence the car that much so in most cases theres no point touching it. The best setup is primary and secondary cat delete with stock resonator and stock mufflers. X pipe setups sound the worst by far.

Customer doesn’t report any! These cars are very well insulated inside. Windows open and it sounds like the world is ending!

What would the difference in sound between a x pipe or h pipe? I have a c63 and I can’t get a clear answer on it. Only thing I’ve heard is h pipe is deeper and little quieter while a x pipe is raspier and louder than a h pipe
X-Pipe is generally for a smoother, more raspy sound and the H-Pipe is generally for more of a deep growl. Secondary cat delete and H-Pipe is the way to go on these!

Not sure, we’ve never done one, it’ll definitely be significantly louder
@@multiblade04 you will loose amg sound if you install an x-pipe. Not having a cross over in your exhaust makes the sound even deeper, but you might get a little bit of drone. If I was you I would add h-pipe for deeper and smoother tone.
@@RegalAutosport does a secondary cat delete add rasp or more of a deep sound? Or neither and it just make the sound louder overall

How is the sound for cat delete only vs cat delete plus hpipe?
Secondary cat bypass sounds fantastic, but with H-Pipe it sounds like this. We're a BIG fan of the H-Pipe + secondary cat delete
@@RegalAutosport nice hard to tell the diff, but with the h-pipe it does sound LOUDER. just curious what is the dia of the h-pipe 0.5 inch? (i heard the smaller the better to avoid raspy noise)
