However, I've been invited to sing at someone's wedding who is gay. I decided not to attend after hearing the Holy Spirit speak clearly to me through this song. How can I be in it when God is not in it? Even if I'm a good singer going to perform for my first time, is it worth it?? I just can't; I don't want to dishonor God and it's not a good example for others as a follower. I want to draw near to God and not further. Through the seasons of life, and at some point where we all have to decide whether to follow Jesus and bring glory to his name; or not. "It's up to us." God can not bless us if we keeping on sinning.
