This is one of the most important Breakfast Club interviews of the year...I hope everyone that needs to, watches this interview. As a person that has grown more and more spiritually, I've noticed some of my best friends from childhood not aligning with me spiritually and I was scared to let ppl go, but this just gave me the confirmation that I needed.

I needed this! Especially when she said we don’t need to hold onto relationships due to thee grab of time we knew the person. We are holding on to people that hold no space in our lives

GIRL!!! I wanted to send this video to some friends and family soooo bad! BUT I’m not in “that head space” to be able to eloquently speak to them in a loving and peaceful manner like how she stated that she did with the people in her life. I’m so tired of biting my tongue, dodging folks and lying to them… because they are comfortable with where they are in their lives, not to mention that they’re energy drainers. #boundaries 🤲🏾💚🧘🏾‍♂️

I absolutely love Devi. She came to me at a time when I was seeking a teacher. I feel like she's my teacher. I listened to her podcast everyday. Now I'm just waiting for more episodes! Lol.
I'm in a place where I've been putting off a conversation with my best friend. This conversation gave me the tools to start it. Envy was asking all of the questions that I needed to hear! Thank you Envy! Thank you Devi!❤️

My experience is that the hardship of living from our spiritual place is that our society is not congruent with the practice of Spiritual based living; also our addiction to the things society defines as success and good to have or do are more based in ego than Spirit. I am inspired and have gained hope from this interview session. 💜❤️💚

Navigating and managing emotions is the hardest thing to get under control from things out of your control. Man... chakras energies we're all off. I could feel the energy blocks inside myself. #Self #Love is a NECESSARY #illusion, ultimately meant to help you *realise* that you *ARE* Love itself, thus you need not try to love your self... Once you realise you *ARE* love itself you find that you don't *NEED* to try Love yourself. Here is an analogy: The sun(love) doesn't need to try to warm itself(self love) for it IS warmth(love) itself... only a sun *UNCONSCIOUS* and *UNAWARE* of the fact that it IS warmth would try warm itself. Let that marinate.
You can either choose to #BE love itself or try to #DO love as an act to your self: please note that DOING is trying and trying is failing to BE... Your choice creates your experience: you make your choice then your choice makes you.
You can choose to either TRY to Love your self 😘😊(which in essence is like a dog chasing its own tail unconscious & unaware that the tail is itself) OR #BECOME Love itself❤ (Dog realising the tail is itself thus stops chasing it)... One is #DOING the other is #BEING. You can only pick 1 at a time. Trying to love yourself is like trying to be your self, lol it's a paradox. True Being is *EFFORTLESS* (power), self love is *EFFORT* (force).
Nevertheless, *why* do l say self love is a *NECESSARY* illusion? Because for some dogs (souls), it is NECESSARY for them to chase their own tail (try to self love) for them to realise & awaken to the awareness that the tail IS them.🙏🏾✨️

Nope, okay, let me clear something up. Cognitive behavioral theory is not the only modality talk therapists use. Studies have shown that CBT isn’t culturally sensitive to the BIPOC population due to cognitive challenges and reframing interventions. For example, if you are sharing with your therapist about a microaggression incident at work and they challenge you to see it differently. Well, then, they are dismissing a client's experience. Her information is outdated. Somatic therapy focuses on the mind/body connection to help heal trauma stored within the body by using movement, energetic, cognitive, and spiritual practices. Dialectic Behavior Therapy (DBT) uses Buddhist philosophy with a CBT base. There’s even trans personal wilderness therapy, where therapists are hiking or outside sessions with clients. There are so many theories that I’m not sure she’s aware of, although I will say if a spiritual guide is what you need, then, by all means, include I, or maybe that’s all you need. I just needed to clear some things up. I’m a Clinical Mental Health Counseling intern. 😉

Maybe by the time your internship is over, you would have developed more of a listening ear, to the point that you can express your differing opinions without such angst.
