Not sure if anyone’s noticed, but throughout Reach, the levels get less grassy. In Winter Contingency, nature is thriving, it’s everywhere. Tip of the Spear’s fought in a desert, so of course there’s barely any nature, but forget that one. In “The Package”, when you return to Sword Base, which previously had some greenery, it’s now replaced by fire and dismay, no greenery whatsoever, the only thing left is their dead forms. Pillar of Autumn, another desert, very little greenery. Lone Wolf, fought in a place with zero greenery. It’s a beautiful way to show the decay of reach, and how far you’ve come in your journey. From Winter Contingency, full of greenery and nature, to Lone Wolf, where that beauty is gone, replaced by only desert, blood, and guns. EDIT: I'd also like to say that it might represent the state of Noble Team. Winter Contingency: Full power, you have everything that would be needed for something. Lone Wolf: Back to basics, to where you started.
Ive just realised something that makes emiles death even more sad. Emile saw the phantom coming but chise to prioritise keys and 6 instead of himself and instead chose to fight of their incoming phantoms rather than his own.
Were the zealots a secondary enemy? The team at the beginning was bigger than just the 3 encountered when finding Halseys daughter and almost every death was from a zealot if not by the Spartans own hand
first miranda isnt in halo reach and shes halseys only daughter, the person youre talking about is her assistants daughter. second what do you mean a secondary enemy? they are still covenant. the zealots were part of a group called the "devoted sentries" that to be honest cared more about hunting artefacts rather than the war. the sentries were hunting noble team throughout the game (random active camo/sensor pickups), this is because kat stole the data they were looking for in visegrad relay, their leader was also killed on the long night of solace (alongside all the artefacts they had collected) which just made the sentries even angrier. they then tracked them down on new alexandria (kat says she gets traced) and lured outside by the glassing beam, the sentries then follow them to sword base (overheard the orders to carter through the radio). the sentries lost noble during the package and then wait them out at the only remaining exist on the planet (pillar of autumn) where they kill the last 2 remaining members of noble (excluding jun who got away with halsey and carter who took out the scarab)
Yes and no. The deaths of Noble Team DID come at the hands of a group of Zealots; Now, were they the same Zealots that they fought and encountered at the Visegrad Relay? I don't really think so. Noble Team would wipe out the entire group, barring the one that "blew past" Emile and escaped from Visegrad. I think it's very likely that the Elite that "blew past" Emile reported back to his shipmaster and was tasked with the destruction of Noble Team, the redemption of his Zealot Team, and the redemption of his "Honor". The Elites within the Covenant were really big on grudges and Honor, so it wouldn't surprise me if the Zealot that got away was leading a newly formed team specifically built to hunt Noble for their actions at Visegrad (And eventually across the whole battle of Reach), and to redeem himself and his original team's failure at Visegrad.

@Syke-VR It is a nice thing I realized from this video, and never realized.
I love reach
I always liked how when Carter, 6, and emile left on the pelican emile just sits on the back like a badass
same his back is so damn badass
0:55 was one of the greatest transitions i ever seen
The carter part hits hard 🫡

The Field Marshal is the closest we get to a actual main antagonist
