- These elevators seemed to have undergone at least one modernization since they were installed in 1989, judging by the generic LCD floor indicators. Internal buttons were typical touch-sensitive M-Line. There was also a small keypad next to the right-side COP, which seemed to be seldom used. All floors including and above 8 were locked off, and unlike most hotels in which one is allowed to access every guest floor (or every guest floor that is not an executive floor, at least) with a valid keycard, here one could only select the floor programmed into the keycard. Notice how they skip the 6th floor, the reason of which would be revealed in the next video.
