I hope you enjoyed this video on how Ireland survived world war 2. Did you know because of Ireland's neutrality Ireland found itself isolated in the post second world war era. Ireland was one of few nations in Europe which was able to avoid the hostilities. But everything wasn't rosie and peachy as Ireland faced both internal and external challenges during the emergency period.

Ireland to their shame remained neutral, thinking England would be defeated. Thousands of brave irishmen thought otherwise & joined the British army.
