    Sinosauropteryx was fascinating. The coloration was gorgeous. Even though small, you would not want to back this little dinosaur into a corner and fight it out. Thank you for this episode..

    The orange and white markings remind me more of a red panda than a raccoon

    There's a misleading title embedded in the thumbnail. Sinosauropteryx wasn't "the first ever feathered dinosaur". Far from it. It's really unfortunate TH-cam culture encourages clickbait and discourages intellectual honesty.

    I totally recommend doing a video on the messel pit in Germany.

    The counter shading you spoke of contradicts the definition given in the screenshot shown a minute before. It was an open habitat animal not forest dwelling. Otherwise great video 👍🏼

    Dinosaurs had the same kind of feathers you’d find on a baby bird today💯

    I enjoyed this video and thought it was interesting. The only complaint I have is that the narrator's tone was just so boring I almost dozed off several times. A livelier narrative would be better.

      Part of the reason I love these videos IS the narrators tone. Lullaby when I’m sleepy, information when I’m awake and alert. It’s great to listen to in the car, it soothes road rage! Lol now I sound like an infomercial

    Not the first feathered dinosaur. Archaeopteryx and the scansoriopterygids, for example, lived before Sinosauropteryx.

      Hell, feathers were almost certainly an ancestral trait. The first dinosaurs to exist probably had feathers.

    • @trvth1s
      @trvth1s ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Feathers may have evolvednlong before dinosaurs, in an early archosaur (ancestor of pterosaurs and dinosaurs).
      The latest it evolved was in the first dinosaurs, as both saurichians and ornithischians had protofeathers (a version of hair/fur).

    Okay, 1.41 in and I already can't stand the tone and pace of the narrator so I cannot watch the rest.

    People are exploiting AI into creating hideous content. This is a terrible video.

    Sinsauropteryx was apparently the first dinosaur outside of aviale discovered with feathers. Maybe he said as much later on, but i stopped watching as I dont like click-bait dishonesty.
