My wife and I visited this resort about 5yrs ago. It was perfect in every way. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
I hope you got out to see more of st. Lucia. It truly is the most beautifull place in the world. Definitely recommend taking a boat trip to the Pitons. 10/10 from me.

Great video!! We were the couple sitting in front of you on the helicopter ride back to the airport!! Definitely great for people that are easily prone to motion sickness! Everything you said was spot on! Was an amazing honey moon and we want to go back :)

La Toc was the worst Sandals I've been to. The food was good, but the wait was an hour or more at every place, the worst being that Italian restaurant behind you at the beginning.
That pool table you refer to is actually a falling apart billiards table. There is a pool table down at the other area, but it's in terrible shape. (Rails sagging meaning nails go flying off the table, holes in the pockets, unleveled)
Of the two golf courses mentioned, only 1 is a real course, the other (the one at La Toc) is an unkept, cheep, short, 9-hole "course". The 18-hole course by the Grande is great though!
The butler service brought us cold food and wrong drinks and so we stopped using them altogether.
That view is phenomenal, no questions about that!!
But the beach being closed most of our visit, the fruit-fly infested buffet, long waits at restaurants, poor and unfriendly customer service, and cumbersome butler service made this our last favorite Sandals resort.
The Grande was so much better in each of these categories than La Toc!!
Sorry late reply. But I totaly agree with all you've said. We arrived there on 14th November....and left on the 15th!!.. went to the Grande. I can only imagine these people are paid by La Toc to sell the place😫...Its a total tip....to many bad things to mention. Anyway just thought I'd share my views with you😁👍

yea... we feel the same way about the beach. we didn't like it very much. it was too rocky, almost every day we were there (february), and we prefer more of a tranquil, gentle to the touch kinda wave :) so we couldn't enjoy the beach.
How did you book the boat transfer and helicopter transfer?
so motion sickness on the boat same amount of time 😃
How was the food at the restaurants?
Do you have reviews of the other St Lucia resorts? We recently went to Sandals South Coast (our first resort vacation ever!), and I'm going crazy trying to figure out where to book for next year. Was pretty set on Sandals Negril, but was worried about construction. I hear that will be done this year before we'd be going. Also considering St Lucia Grande - would love to see your thoughts about that one!

How did you book the helicopter ride?
The bluff butler suites with pools overlooking everything, do the trees block the view of the resort and the ocean? They look tall in some pictures.
They block the view in one direction down the beach in some places, but not the ocean.
Thanks for responding to my comment. It was a toss up between the honeymoon private hideaway with the dip pool and the cliff.

Great video. Are there many cats on the property? Is this true if all Sandals?
Yes, there were a few cats on property, but they stay outdoors. Barbados had less and Curacao barely has any.

The cats don’t bother people. Some let you pet them if you try or walk by your table, but they leave you alone and do not go indoors. I’m at Sandals Royal Curacao and only saw one cat so far and 3 at Sandals Royal Barbados.

How handicap accessible is this Sandals in comparison to others?
Since it is on a hillside it won’t be as easily accessible as other Sandals resorts. I remember lots of ramps so it can be navigated, but there are better resorts for handicap accessibility.
Can the boat be booked on arrival?
I do not think so
Am I missing something? This resort is like 15 minutes from the airport in the capital Castries.
Hi Jon, only inter island flights go to that airport so if you go there from the US you fly to the other airport.

Sandals Grand St Lucian is the most active.
What month was this?
This was end of February.
Stayed here for 1 day in November...and left!!. The place is in total need of a refurb!!😫😫
