Regine is just very humble and down to earth, and very supportive of the current singers. But reality check: she is still the best singer the Philippines has ever produced. I think she said that in the context of comparing them two at present time. She's already 50 (or maybe 49 when she said that) and Kat is in her prime now. But during Regine's prime, she was a force to be reckoned with, unstoppable, and she set the standard so high.
She's amazing. But I really believe there's a lot of people just as good. She's better than them in some aspects and they're better than her in other aspects. It seems like she was the first to come out with nonstop , limitless belting and that's what makes people love her so much.

Im a kv fan, but i admit that mori is more polished when it comes to characterizing her performances... mori is under the biggestnetwork in the philippines while katrina is a freelancer performer... abscbn artists have always been propped properly for audiences... and even coached constantly, kv didnt have those opportunities and thats why her biggest shortcoming is having a team to train her personality and stage characterization... but singing performance wise!? I think kv is far more explosive than most of networks artists... she only needs a little bit of push and confidence... but hey, she’s still my queen!!!
