I was wondering, if after you put it in the electrolysis bath, could you maybe switch the polarities and pour some ionising paint into the the bath? The idea to maybe use the exposed metal to attract the paint molecules to the bare metal? That way you can just tear of the plastic wrap at the end and job's a good'n. I dunno if that would work though but it would be cool if it did
