Absolutely love this clip. I can only watch slow steady shot pictures because otherwise I get nauseous. And I love roses. This gives me so much pleasure😍
For a while I just grew the old roses but now I see the value of modern roses and will be adding them to my collection. So beautiful and healthy your garden is paradise.
Спасибо автору за такой потрясающий обзор шикарных роз. Получила огромное удовольствие от просмотра и конечно же для себя уже заприметила некоторые сорта, которые обязательно приобрету.
Hey!!Maine Coon mom.. thank you for this...even before all the fires I could not get much flowering stuff to grow. Not enough sun. Now there is more sun...IF there is no fire...but it's too hot Shaking my head. I was fortunate when visiting my dad @ 10 yrs. ago to visit Longwood Gardens in Philadelphia....most gorgeous place. I have not been online much....actually getting major stuff done. AT LONG LAST yesterday I dug down to see ONE THING...yes?,dug....and ended up clearing stuff from in front of 3 bookshelves!!! Thanks for sharing
Thank you so much for this video! The garden is so wonderful, and the names of roses so helpful. I’m in love with the Oiseau Bleu rose from Poulsen… do you know where I can oder it?
Beautiful compilation thank you for making and sharing! How do you protect climbers at the beginning of your video? I’m in zone 5a climbers will only grow up to 6 ft tall and will branches die back to the ground every spring
Hi. This is in southern Norway. It is Zone 2, but that is not the same as in your zone 2, I don't know in your system. We are cutting long branches before winter. After some winters some branches also need cutting in the springtime.
@@MaineCoonFelix you’re in a colder zone than me! Do you wrap all the canes on the arbour for protection? This year I’m burying my favourite roses their canes in the ground hoping next year minimum die back 🤞
I have found that in an normal winter we are like USDA zone 11. Some winters, like 2 years ago, we were in USDA zone 6. Its usually not very cold here. We dont cover up the climbers.
Incredible garden. What are your favourites? Or which ones surrprised you most (in the positive sense)? I thought I'm a lover of white roses and my biggest love so far is Augusta Louise ;-)
Well, I have several favorites. Among hybrid teas, there is no doubt; Black Magic. Among floribundas for example; we have Amber Queen and Hansestadt Rostock two yellow beauties. Among our climbers I have to mention Eden 85 and Nightlight. However, the later does not like cold winters. I would also like to mention an English shrub by Austin, namely Crocus Rose.
Good morning, I am like you, I love roses, for the moment I have 90 rose bushes, I am in the south west of France, yours are magnificent. Could you tell me what fertilizer you use and when? Thank you for your reply. Sincerely
@@MaineCoonFelix Ok thank you very much for your quick response. I do a bit of the same but I also spread composted manure in winter. You gave me the idea of making an arch with laguna and sweet laguna but could you tell me which rose bushes you planted next to laguna and sweet laguna because I find the combination successful. All the best.
