We have a rare rain day here in Arizona so I thought it would be fun to try a few things on the Honda Grom. In today's video Jon gives me tutorials on standing burnouts, donuts, and skids. I didn't successfully pull off each of these moves, so check out the vid to see how things went!

I love watching the progression in the into as you learn new things!
Jon: If you want to stop just pull the clutch in
Jackie *puts hand on clutch*...then takes hand away from clutch and keeps going😂

You are so right! Never give into peer pressure and do something you don't want to do. Not just for motorcycles, every thing in life. The only time you need to push past your limits is if you are going to race or be a stunt rider. On a closed course of course. Very cool burnout though.

That exhaust slaps. Also seems to me these drills can be super helpful for getting a feel for wet v dry traction in a risk-reduced way

David does the same thing to me. Always trying to get me to push my limits. But like Jon, it's all out of love. He just wants to see me have the most fun possible. But scary is not fun!!! 😄 We'll see you on the next video...

That’s great, but maybe you should be wearing more protective gear than jeans and a jacket while you learn pretty extreme stunts?

Tyres are way too expensive for me to attempt this. I have to pay 370$ to get both changed in my country. And i only make 19$ before taxes and taxes are crazy here (almost half) . I am getting new tyres soon so I was considering trying this but I am not sure if i want to risk it, i think it may put a lot of stress on the components.

In today's episode, we teach a beginner rider "drills" that have no application to real street experience. Way to go 👏

    Why?
Jackie, please take a rider course, get your license & learn at your own pace.

windmillstables1 she is learning at her own pace. Because she has a newborn she can’t take two days off to take the MSF course. She stated that in a previous video.

@@CactusJack252 bout to say the same.... also its just a little fun, not really presured to be on the stunt scene or anything 😒

Everyone making comments about how these drills/skills are not applicable to the streets, or they are unsafe and go against what motorcycles are made to do; stop riding.
Motorcycles are meant to be fun. If you're gonna be a stick in the mud, go buy a hybrid.

Ok, I applaud your daredevil spirit but motorcycles aren't designed to do these things. Pulling off these stunts is actually a function of circumventing their design and safety. Maybe consider getting a few thousand miles of riding under your belt before you decide to test yourself like this.
Just a concerned fan, be safe.
