Trailheads up in the subalpine on foggy early mornings are just the best : ) Edit: The drone shot at the end was so amazing. The partially cloudy conditions made it even better! What drone do you have?
That is an amazing hike. Glad you got to see the mountain in all its glory. It took me and a friend 3 tries before we made it up there. First time was the wrong time of year and still snowed out, second time angry bees on the trail stopped us and third time was amazing.
My son is camping at High Rock by Hood currently. Looked on maps and TH-cam and found you. Now I can't stop watching your vids. We're going to do Hood this summer. Hope to see you out on the trail ☺️
I've never done any of the hikes around Mt. Rainer All trails just shows so many trail options It's hard to know which one to try first. It would be good to do the summit of Mt. Rainer. It's a 3 day venture. I may need to do some high altitude training. I did South Sister and was feeling it near the top of that but didn't have any acclimation time. Mt. Rainiers peak is at 14k vs only 10k of South Sister. There's a decent loop trail of 8.3mi 2400 ft that would be a good alternate as a one day trail option. Where you could then do some of the other trails that go to Mildred Point and Comet Falls.
Awesome!!!
It's adorable to see you gushing like that. One hell of a view.
I was seriously so excited and so surprised it actually cleared!!!

I have the DJI mini 3 it’s a beginner friendly one. And so far I really like it!
Been wanting to do this one for awhile
It’s such a beauty when it’s clear
What time did you start hiking up there to get the clouds? Such a beautiful view!
