That's a big ole bike and I like it lol. It's nice to see your young pups jumping and playing in the background. One of our favorite dogs is now a senior (15) and I'd love to see her run and play like she used to. Hope you two get a nice ride in and enjoy your weekend. 👍
Our elder sisters Abby & Maddison (the latter being Sasha & Annie's mom) are 12 now, and have slowed quite a bit. Seems odd not seeing them playing like Sasha & Annie... 😔 Thanks Scott!! 👍
@@TheSmoaksVlogs I feel your pain brother we lost my baby (Callie) last September she was 13 . It's pretty heartbreaking. I tell myself that there is a season to live and a season to die and when our pets die I won't have a broken heart but I always do . Hope you two had a fantastic weekend. 👍
That big Yamaha would ask ask a Sea to Sky if IT had a problem?? Lot of motorcycle on two wheels!! Lol. Stay safe and I guess both of us will be dodging rain this weekend. Good luck 👍🏽😎
I always wanted one of these. I personally loved the looks and love that engine. My 2014 Stratoloner S had over 20k trouble free miles on it. Engine was awesome and super reliable. Only my 2 bone on bone knees forced me to move to a Spyder RT Limited recently. Will always moss it and regret never have this version of the Venture.
The Venture is darn near a 1000lbs. My Eluder is over 825! I think they were more popular in Canada and in the New England areas. Every now and then I get an experience from mine that I can only describe as it sounds like an intake and exhaust valve are open at the same time. And it's usually when I'm manipulating the clutch and throttle. Doesn't happen all the time, but when it does, it gets your attention! Peace and love.
I also think the owner was still in a higher gear. Happens to us all. I felt all that weight from my chair. Bigger, badder, heavier is not always the bestest.!! Springtime blues. Weather cold and wet on the weekends., bikes stacked and packed at the dealers waiting for servicing and sometimes the shortage of techs. Lucky to have multiple motos. 👍👍5🏍🙋♂️
I've owned many Yamahas. I got to demo the new Venture and Goldwing back-to-back in 2019. I thought the design of the Venture looked better than the Goldwing. "What an awful bike" was basically what I thought when I got off the Venture. The Goldwing got the opposite reaction. I really enjoyed the Goldwing, and if I was forced to buy a cruiser today, that would be what I would choose.
Nice bike! Glad you got to show us. Yeah Yamaha took a beating on those. I still have my XVS650C, don’t ride it much so it needs to find a new home. Be well Smoaks!
What a beautiful bike. I wish Yamaha would have kept this bike around and thrown their hat into the ring for King of the Baggers. I mean this is a pushrod operated Vtwin right? I'd love to see it fair against the road glide and challenger. It'd be so cool to see more manufacturers join KOTB.
These Ventures are STILL selling for $18k USED!!. If you find one for at least 13k it won't be at the dealership long, there's still a fan base out there for these motorcycles.
I had a Stratoliner for two years. Horrible handling bike. I think it was too big and heavy for the frame. A lot of flex going on. Wiggled a lot on the interstate as well. Not very well planted.
When everyone else has failed let the motorcycle whisperer ride that motorcycle. Thank you for all that you all do.

That bike is so heavy. The Yamaha model you couldn’t think of is called the Eluder. Supposed to mimic a Street Glide. Good stuff Smoak’s!
Oh yeah, that's right..! They were so short lived, it's easy to forget them.
Thanks Gus!! 👍

Big 'ol Gal..! Lol
Thanks Cedric!! 👍

Amazing sound from this respectful roadbeast! ❤

I envy anyone who wakes up to this level of beauty. ❤😂❤
I like the dashboard. Storage unit built into the tank? It looks so heavy. I'd prefer a stripped-down version. That could be fun. Nick
I had a 2011 Road King Classic. I miss mine too!
Cool..! Thanks Gerry!! 👍
Liked the switch today, but man that is one large bike…guessing it’s the size of a Gold wing. A very nice bike though. Have a great one👍

Love those Ventures. Don’t understand why they didn’t sell.
Almost bought one of those before I got my ultra limited

looks so much better than the bmw or harley touring ones

Make sure the gas tank is empty before you pass it to the GM to ride 😂
Cyano Acrylat
Biggest mistake Yamaha made was replacing the V4 RSTD and Venture with this.
🖤👌
