Long story short I spun my wheel when the steering shaft was off and I broke my clock spring, started throwing a stabiltrac, airbag, buttons not working, power steering malfunction light and even my NPP exhaust can’t get controlled anymore, your video is the only step by step guide on how to do it , thank you !!!!!
Excellent detailed installation video. I really appreciate how you included the failures as well as the successes. We all learn lessons from our mistakes, you addressed how to deal with the mistakes! Very important. I installed a like CF steering wheel I got from Matt at Wildhammer Motor Sports on a 2017 Camaro 2SS a couple years ago. Your video would have been very helpful back then. I am considering buying another one for my 2021 Camaro ZL1.

Red loctite is the one that cant be removed without heat. Blue can be removed with hand tools

Also GM says to use a breaker bar, but gotta be nigh impossible.
Alcantara steering wheels are only good for gloved driving. They really get shiny and shitty looking pretty quickly from wear/tear and the sweat of your hands. They look awesome for about a week, and then it’s all downhill. Most aftermarket/custom steering wheels that I’ve seen that have perforated leather seem to use very cheap-looking material. It always looks cheap. The perforated leather on your new wheel looks better quality than most I’ve seen. 👍🏼
12k miles on my stock ZL1 steering wheel, never wear gloves and still looks brand new. I daily the car.
Needed a DeWalt or Milwaukee 1/2 impact would have done it no problem.

Suuuuper informative video. I do plan on getting a new steering wheel when my zl1 steering wheel goes to shit. I dont think I’ll need to watch anything else other than your video man. Loooool. Do you happen to know what the torque setting was on that T50 when putting the steering wheel back on? Anyway man. Love those mod vids for the ZL1. Keep ‘em comin’!

for forwad collision system i guess u ordered a wrong clock spring and i dont knw if it reqires coding in case of bmws it requires coding ask your dealer for more details btw nice informative video
is that an olight s1 baton on your hat? I was looking at getting a similar light since I lost mine

My ZL1 doesn’t have forward collision system . I have the PDR so you can’t have both
