When you vote for drugs to be decriminalized and to defund the police. This is exactly what you get. It’s the Portland voters fault, not the police at this point.😂

This behavior simply leads to other acts of vandalism, thats not an opinion, it's a fact. It's been the precursor of the downfall of many a major city in America.
You're not the arbiter of fact. Just a dude on the internet spreading verbal vandalism of his own.
It's also a fact that people don't apply arson where they just applied spray paint and effort.

@@Drew-be5dhYes. Conservatives have been running propaganda for multiple generations now trying to depict Portland as endlessly on fire because its seen as a place where liberals can live peaceful lives. It extends well beyond propaganda too, they commit a kind of economic warfare in a lot of the country where they give homeless people a one way bus ticket to Portland claiming "its a liberal city, they have the resources to help you there" TH-cam makes this pattern worse because the more someone engages with a subject, the more related content is shown, and these people just end up finding their way into an endless feed of propaganda content.

This wasn’t a “tagger”. It was a writer. Sure, this writer may have tagged as well, but his level of skill and the scale of his work is greater than the average tagger. A lot of taggers have no skill or moral code, which is why they all get a bad rap, but this was obviously someone who at least put in the work and was better than the average piss tagger putting up garbage just to feed their egos.
Its art. I swear we cant be free as humans to do what we want

And i dont want to see blank walls and pro trump stuff.
If it's public space not being used like retaining walls, it's fair game.
Private property I have mixed feelings.

@@erok268 i think your fucking self glorifing kindergarten scribbles suck. No talet losers. Now genuine street art is beautiful. Your stupid street cred nickname written everywhere looks like pure 💩. What else should the community expect from losers that only care about themselves?
It’s not art. It’s vandalism. None of these so called “artists” would like it if someone else tagged their property. How would you like it if someone felt “free” to tag your house, car, bike, other whatever?
Honestly public spaces in my opinion that are random infrastructure walls or just blank walls with no anesthetic value are free game. Like if its not private property why not. Like once agai. If its infrastructure or maintenance or utility buildings with no anesthetic value i dont see why not. There should be a pay to paint for anyand all these spaces. Everymonth someone can pay to paint it whatever, no drug use, no porn/erotica (nudity is ok natural), no grotesque violence, i think ads as long as they arent apart of a larger campaign and are unique to that piece why not? It would make our city more revenue, more buzz in general, give a space for more artists, and put more artists to work. Large companies pay like 1000 a spot, small companies like 300, individuals 200. Something like that. And have a list for popular locations on reserve and cap the limit of prepaid spot reservations. Like 2 months max, including tgs month the spot is yours. And at your own risk safety wise etc.
You think this is ok? Nobody should have the right to desecrate or defecate on anything but their own property. They should be arrested, fined for the cost of the graffiti removal and imprisoned for 10 years with no probation.

Who fucking cares, it’s paint, it’s art, it gives someone purpose. Who the fuck is it hurting? Give them a specific space to paint if you want do something about it! GIVE ARTIST SPACE!! Have a whole street art section in Portland where everything is painted on. it would become a tourist attraction and bring in $$$$$$$ to the city.
You would lose your mind if they chose to put "art" on your car. Rainbows or swastikas or gang insults. YOU can paint your own car with all of that but you chose one color for a reason. You should allow people to place random bumper stickers on your vehicle."It's just 'art'".
A lot of people do care. They don’t appreciate seeing the city defecated upon. It’s not art. It’s vandalism. The cretins who do this have no respect or consideration for anyone or anything except for their own juvenile “artistic” endeavors. Period.
It's not art, and not about art for the most part. Maybe 1-5% is. And even so, without permission it's disrespectful and an eye sore forced onto the property owner and/or the community. Keep it on a canvas or the rare disused out of sight "canvas".
You’re selfish. How about you offer up your house for them to tag all over. What’s art about tagging “eyor rango mazy” on a 405 sign? Do enlighten.
