Both aluminium and iridium can be found in central plateu in a cave just below sandfall, and it is much closer to where you start then two areas mention in game.
Great tips. 1. Make sure you are in run mode. You can move further before your oxygen runs out. By default the game always starts in walk mode. In options set run to toggle on or off when you press the run key (shift key on Windows 10). 2. Search wrecks and chests for food and seeds. Food production comes later.
Still on my 1st run and wanted to add to build the T2 crafter plus a chest when you find a place for your mini base. Nice to have food and water stored for when you are just exploring and almost out of either.
Great video! Didn't know about the control key for crafting multiples, going to use that one. Another tip that helped me, with the beacon you can actually rename it and change the color on each one. My main base is labeled Home which makes it easier to find. And I have others scattered across the map for caves and such :)
Tbh I've seen so many TH-camrs struggle with iridium, but tbh since the start and now later in the game I have too much that I even shredded some of it. Tho what I really struggled with for a long time was Uranium. Also I did the mistake of getting my first base flooded too, tho I liked reorganizing at a later point because it really made a nice and better base
I too found it a bit satisfying to build a better, more organized base the second time, but I would have been devastated if my low-lying base was an insane palace and turned into Atlantis. 😋
I really wish I would have checked this out before spending 15 hours in game building up a nice small base next to the drop pod... I think a REALLY good tip for people, ESPECIALLY starting out... would be to always carry 3 iron, 2 titanium, and 1 sillicon... just so you can build a quick room to refill oxygen on the go, if you don't feel like crafting a bunch of o2 tanks all the time. (maybe an extra titanium/sillicon + 1 aluminum to build a beacon so you can return later)
OH NO!!! Yikes. Well, at least when you rebuild your base, you'll have better knowledge of the best layout. (trying to think of the bright side, lol) Yep, I also did that with the "oh crap I'm out of oxygen" kit like you described. Super handy at the start, great idea!
great..i've just build a huge base next to the pod 😂 at which point does the water come? cause right now i need to find food. hope my base wont be flooded when i come back
Here’s a challenge for you: Survive Planet Crafter without opening any blue storage chest boxes; not even the one inside the capsule that you start in. Here’s the criteria: You get only one life to pull this feat off. Golden and small square storage chest boxes are fair game. Even the lockers are okay to open, if you can find one. Are you up for the challenge?
I never take a base down I just leave it. Why bother transporting something so cheap to build. I have bases everywhere. I even built a highway through that black n white zebra looking area because the ground was horrible on the rover and iron is plentiful. 💯
Oh no! Well, I did the same...good thing you are moving before developing your base too much. It's kind of fun to move and redesign the base knowing what needs to go in it now. :)

Thanks for the tip!! :)

Great tips...I run everywhere, so I didn't even think to mention that. Eventually, the jet pack helps with this too. 😁
The mini base is such a simple idea and it never crossed my mind 😆Thanks!
My brain thinks in simple 😂
Excellent video. Ive been playing for over a week and just disregarded the beacon. Thanks!

Wise advice, thank you!!
5 minutes? Just enough time while it’s downloading. This hillbilly is glad fiber optic finally made it out to him.
Good vid too. Thanks.
OMG, I'm so jealous of your download speeds!! We don't have fiber out here in the sticks yet. 🤪
thanks heaps, i feel proud i figured these out before i watched this video but lovely to know there are such good creators out there :)
Thank you for the kind comment, and congrats on your successful Planet Crafter start! ♥
Best tips video I've seen so far. No spoilers and actually useful tips. 👍
Awesome, thank you! 🥰
WTF are you talking about? At 3:03 she said "without spoiling... let's just say..." and then drops a HUGE spoiler!

Ooh, I didn't know the beacon was customizable!! Thank you!
Great video 👍
Thanks 😁
The Beacon is the small, but gaint helper. Thanks for the video.

Thanks for the visit 😊
Thank you!
You're welcome! ♥

@BuckeyeBunny very fortunately it only took about an 1.5hrs to move everything uphill XD
I just started and only spent about an hour, but it was fun. It would be cool to be able to play with other people.

Oh dear...well, how well can you swim?
It wasn't that long until things started to get a wee bit swampy near the pod. 🤭
@@BuckeyeBunny i moved everything uphill now. only took 2 1/2 hours 😂
@Mustis91 But it was a FUN 2.5 hours I'm sure. 🤣
When I save from the game, after exiting the game, either the screen turns black or I fall from a height, and nothing can be done, please help me.
That's very strange...definitely a question worth posting to their team on Discord or maybe a DM on Twitter.
3:03 - Wow, thanks for the spoiler...
I got a diff spawn irdiam look for caves they turn red when u enter and boom
If u see hull build up it not down it…lesson learned
I door bases door to my left. Like Minecraft torches. If the door on my right away from base left I’m going toward base.
Shucks, built my base right next to the landing pod
@@jon5344 Me too 😭😂 Luckily I'm not that far yet and I was planning on moving it to another place at some point anyway phew
Crap! LOL, me too when I first started. 🤭
Wish I had watched ur video I day ago. 😅

Holy moly! Have you seen my potato gameplay? 🤣 And I'm like 100 years old...nah, I could NEVER pull that off, but it's an interesting challenge!!! 😊

Thanks for these tips, now I have to rebuild my base in a higher place and move all my items in there 🥲
