I was very ammused to see my kids who are 5 and 3 years respectively showed show kin interest in ramayan my daughter who is 5 was watching the show and on every advertisi add the would ask my father what had happened. this was so heartwarming and it showed that everything is not lost for us.

Same logic for Mahabharata where the main verses total to 24000, and the balance 76000 verses are only detailing verses, and so linked to Gayatri Mantra
Similar logic for Sri Mad Bhagavatham.
In the Bhagawad Gita (Song of God), the Lord gives his reflections in so many subjects, and he declares that he is Gayatri amongst all Mantras.
