- The first Nintendo Direct of 2022 had some pretty amazing reveals and announcements, with easily the most exciting one for me being Nintendo Switch Sports. So here's my thoughts on all the great stuff that was shown off in yesterday's Direct! And don't worry, I'm going to make even more videos on Switch Sports. Thanks for Watching!

It was magical, the sequel of Wii sport and frickin MARIO STRIKERS
Hey, probably you won't see this but I want to thank you for giving us your awesome videos ❤️ I know how time it takes to make this content and you may have more support :)
This direct was really awesome tho.
It really was fantastic! Switch Sports was just so exciting for me it slightly overshadowed the other great announcements haha
Yeah :)
At first glance i was a bit worried about Nintendo Switch Sports until i saw that you can still use the mii's.
It made me happy and i can't wait what to see in the future.
Maybe we will even get Nintendo Switch Sports Resorts xD
“There’s also going to be an online play test that I’ll give my opinion on”
Nintendo: We don’t do that here
Imo mario strikers is the most underrated gaming series of all time
I basically feel the same about SPORTS. As for Mario Kart, I wonder if one of the 48 classic tracks will be any of the WuHu island tracks?
They're probably gonna ruin how it looks
I imagine so. They will probably use 3DS models too, so yeah.
Personally, I'm really happy that Klonoa got a remake! I was never able to play the game myself, but I watched a playthrough of it and thought it looked pretty fun. And now I have the opportunity to play it myself!
im also very excited for klonoa
This would have been the best direct ever but it was let down with no Zelda news
Also, switch sports was not what we expected in a bad way
@@deathnum2297 yea the new miis look cheap and bad if you ask me but atleast we can play as the old ones I’m hoping for when you load the game up for the first time you get the option out of the two to play as mainly
if you get what I’m saying
@@Thegamegeek1 yeah but it's still sad that the NLCs won't be the classic Miis like Matt, Abby, Luca, Saburo, Lucia, Kentaro, Tyrone, Tommy and so many others. I wish they release a Resort DLC for like 30 bucks in the future with the old Miis, every sport from Wii Sports Resort on Wuhu Island and a free roam mode to explore Wuhu Island like in Go Vacation. It's not very likely, but not impossible
@@deathnum2297 that would be sick I would definitely buy that
Even if this wasn’t for you, you have to admit this was one of the best directs in a while! Anyway, hope to y’all on the online test of Switch Sports! 😁
T’was a pretty good direct overall!! I’ll be interested to see how Switch Sports is received when it comes out.
My only problem with Nintendo Switch Sports is that you can't make the CPUs look like Mii, at least, not that we know of, yet.
It was a really good direct. Xenoblade 3 was definitely the biggest announcement for me, personally. It looks amazing!
Switch Sports is definitely going to be the biggest seller of this Direct; possibly of the entire year tbh. I wouldn't be surprised if it ends up un-seating Smash Ultimate in the top 3, eventually.
If you think about it, Nintendo it is just trying to repeat the Wii's success, we got 2 sequels to Wii games and the MK8dx used Wii's coconut mall music in the announcement.
Hey don’t lose hope on wuhu island yet. Maybe there will be a fan made one or they will make one after seeing reactions.
Especially with modern games, DLC is almost certain and there will most definitely be free updates too. Id be surprised if they didnt add a few new sports other than those announced, maybe even some other new stuff like wuhu island :D
I was rlly hope for switch sport resort but it is still amazing
They might still make one tho now that the og has a remaster
i can see Nintendo slowly moving from N64 nostalgia to GameCube and Wii nostalgia
I love how positive you are even if you’re not super stoked on something. It’s so refreshing compared to all the debby-downer nintendo fans 😵💫
Let it be said, Nintendo only made the Switch sports game because of what he imagined the game would look like in a video. YOU CAN'T TELL ME OTHERWISE!
I’m still waiting for tomadachi life switch😔
YEEESSSSS
There is recently updated a video of a mod in Breath of the Wild witch leats you explore the Wuhu Island as an open world and I remembered you and your videos talking about it. I have come to love this island because of you. I always liked it but, after watching your video from 2020, I just love it .
You know when you said that the Wii Sports series is your favourite, well same here ever since I played Wii Sports Resort.
Hi @Nintendo Hero😁
Hello!
Hej, fajnie wiedzieć, że nie jestem jedynym polakiem ogłądającym ten kanał 😄
@@jacek314 Też dobrze wiedzieć.
If you ask me Spocco square reminds me the expo event that was in Dubai last year. Excluding the fact that the outside of the square is not a desert.
I was waiting to see what you thought of? The games I'm looking forward to getting is Nintendo Switch Sports,LiveALive,Kirby and the Forgotten Land,Triangle Strategy,Portal Companion Collection,No Mans Sky Switch Edition, and Kloano Collection! The Mario Strikers Battle League interests me as well.
I feel like the huge changes are because of the wii u, so they gave us 1-2 switch that also failed so terrably, (which I at least think was their approche to a new sports game) they tried to go back to their original roots, but also make a different design, just because the wii U failed and they didnt want this to just feel like the wii U version of the sports resort game, but it also could've just been a fail attampt to create totaly different game and after noticing they just renamed it to switch sports, idk
I hope they make a Nintendo Switch Sports Resort
I get that they should've used Wuhu Island but I feel like you were comparing Switch Sports with Wii Resort, When Wii Resort is more open world than Switch sports. Switch Sports is just like Wii Sports.
Maybe they will make paid island flyover dlc
I completely understand the criticism for XC2, the female designs for the most part didn't fit the characters at all, and many were degrading, not to mention the battle system, the terrible tutorials that never explained anything well, and I also understand why someone doesn't prefer the much more anime-directed artstyle and exaggerated expressions, but I love the style and expressions personally. I loved the world, characters, and story of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and the story, in my opinion, grabbed me much quicker than XCDE did, and to be honest, it still hasn't been able to impact me that much from where I'm currently at. Yes, I started the franchise with 2 since I was intrigued by it back in 2017, so I am biased definitely, but my points still stand. Aside from the universally glaring problems, I love XC2, and it rivals XCDE well. I will say that I love XCDE's battle hud and Monado abilities much more than whatever the heck was going on with blade combos and crap, and the new hud for XC3 is making me very nervous since it heavily resembles 2's.
Great video! What's your thoughts on the fact that the new Mario Kart tracks look oddly different in art style from the base game tracks? Like they're kinda missing textures, and some of them seem to be carbon copies of Mario Kart Tour tracks
i think that they will update the game and add more games ( like boxing and maybe baseball) and if the game does well they may do a sequel and probably add the island back with even more sports and features. Just a guess tho
I personally love every aspect of the game, I'm just here for the gameplay...
I am still a little sad that Miis are in much of Switch Sports, But it has a dream come true otherwise
Maybe there will be a nintendo switch sports resort in 2024/2025?
They'll probably drop a switch sports DLC, where you play on wuhu island, and have all of the sports. But I dont think they will change the look of the avatars. Sorry bud.
Saying that the Xenoblade games changed so much with the second game is a huge limited view that I feel like you haven't even finished the game and just focused on two aspects you didn't like, because yes, Xeno2 does have some "low anime" moments, but they are like less then half an hours on a total of 10 of Cutscenes
While I am excited about switch sports existing I am not personally a fan of where they took it. The art style is not something I’m a fan of and it seems almost a downgrade from resort which has like 3-4 times the amount of sports/modes. Also no maka wuhu is a bit of a deal breaker with me. Mario kart and portal were the highlights of that direct for me personally
FINALLY but wii is still better
Xenoblade
Xenoblade indeed
nowhere near as cool as your concept
Yeah I would agree with that haha, I spent forever on that concept vid
@@NintendoHero im honestly very disappointed the sports were never why I liked wii sports they are surprisingly well done in that series better than most sports games but for its all about the miis and the personality (eg: wuhu island, matt training you, champions, shooting an arrow on fruits in the distance, throwing the ball backward and seeing the crowd freak out ...et) and the little touches without those things the game feels like a shovel-ware title
