      It was dark when I untarped in Tucson, and it was not too bad when I tarped the return load in Cottonwood.
      But the heat is coming soon enough, I'm sure 🫤

    Good to get back to Tucson! Yes.....a great mileage week. So a question.....like on your sand load return trip, 48,000 lbs. do you ever split the load across the trailer to have a gap in the middle to level out the ride a bit? Or are today's super modern tractors set up suspension wise as that doesn't matter? Splitting the load makes more tarp work and a couple more "end" tie downs ut as far as the ride goes I was just curious.......

      The main reason is because I'm lazy and want to use only 1 tarp. But I haven't noticed the ride getting much better with a split load vs center for most loads. Long loads seem to smooth out because of the length, but that's about the only type I've noticed a difference.
