Great points and perspectives, Bill. For me, it’s the anticipation/doubt of how my writing will be accepted, enjoyed, or that it even may not resonate with some readers, which puts me into entirely different emotional zone, than when I am actually just writing. Hopefully, someday, the act of publishing my writing will not produce such dissonance for me.
