@Gagan I think Indian truck drivers drive in right or middle lane because of bikes/motorcycles in left lane (which is not the case in western countries). It is very difficult to drive in that lane because of low speed of bikes and the height at which truck drivers sit. Indian situation is always unique compared to rest of the world. We either ban the bikes from highways or have separate lane for bikes. My personal opinion is that government should have separate roads for commercial and passenger vehicles. But again our country is not that rich. Commercial vehicles waste a lot of time of passenger vehicles and lot of people die unnecessarily. Mostly the accidents are between commercial and passenger vehicles.
I’m pretty sure gagan Sir wanted to abuse the truckers but he settled with ‘moorkh’ 😂 but an important video with respect to road safety. I too travel on highways frequently and I myself end up breaking many laws because of others who DO NOT drive properly. This video needs to be shared as much as possible!

👌MUST READ.......VERY IPMTORTANT TOPIC👌......Liseance should be given according to age but it should be given by one's talent........ i saw many people who dont know 2 drive but they think that they have liceanse so they r king of road.........besides these i saw many 15 or 16 years boys who drive well also they have the proper knowledge of roads but they dont have the right to drive cars on road....... RTO should take proper test for like panic brake situation etc and then they should be given lisceanse.....

Multiple level tests should be taken for eg city drive, night drive, rain drive, highway drive, bumper to bumper traffic drive and according to all round driving licence should be given, even the training should be given on all levels as well
One big issue on indian highway is that you are allowed to take right turns from the right lane (fast/overtaking late), which is why u see so many heavy vehicles moving on the right lane in order to turn right.
The proper way is to have all exits to the highway from the left (for right hand driving countries). This will keep the right lane always free and uninterrupted

Finally someone made a video of this nonsense which happens on Highways.. even I face the same.. not just with the truck drivers but owners of luxury cars, Highend SUV found breaking the lane discipline..
Very good video made by you Sir! I really appreciate it. Indians especially truck drivers are ignorant about this fact that the rightmost lane should be the fastest lane on the highway but they ignore it as you said in the video. The worst part is that it the indicators of trucks especially the old ones are not seen by us because either they are not working or its the wish of the stupid driver not to indicate other people about changing lanes. Hope people get awared about the harmful effects of unsafe highway driving. Will surely share this video. Thank you Gagan Sir!

Gagan ji.. Thanks for your valuable suggestions... one more cent from my end... Lorry has really good load than permitted load. so they do not want to change the line and want to apply brake also. Othewise their vehicle will upside. If they are on slowest lane then, they will need to apply brake frequently because some vehicles will be parked roadside for brake down or for drive break etcc., people are walking and some items are lying road side. etc.. this is the reason they would like to occupy fastest lane even though they go slow...

बहुत अच्छा विडियो है । ड्राइविंग में common sense और दूसरों की सहूलियत और सुरक्षा का ख्याल रखना बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है । अकसर जब रोड एक्सिडेंट होता है तो हमेशा बड़ी गाड़ी वाले को ही दोषी माना जाता है । पैदल या साइकिल वाला पटपटिया से लग जाए तो पटपटिया वाले की गलती , bike वाले को कार / एसयूवी से लग जाए तो कार / एसयूवी वाले की गलती और कार का एक्सिडेंट ट्रक / बस से हो जाए तो बस / ट्रक वाले की गलती मान ली जाती है , उसने ठीक से नहीं चलाया, देखा नहीं !! लेकिन हमेशा ऐसे नहीं होता है । पैदल या साइकिल वाले भी गलती करते हैं , मोटोरसाइकिल वाले , कार , ट्रक , बस वाले भी गलती करते हैं । लेकिन यदि हर कोई अपनी और दूसरों की सुविधा और सुरक्षा का ख्याल रखे तो बहुत से एक्सिडेंट avoid किए जा सकते हैं । बेसिक रोड सेफ़्टी रुल्स फॉलो किए जाएँ , तो एक्सिडेंट कम किए जा सकते हैं ।

Great message to drivers who forces us to do what shouldn't be done at any cost. well, i am feeling like driving along with much better drivers who always follow the rules no matter what. Everybody who has seen this video, please trigger an email to road ministry with idea to develop 2 dedicated or 1 dedicated lane to trucks only. Ideally 4 lane highway 2 lane for trucks and 2 lanes for cars
6 lane highway 2 lanes trucks 3 lanes car 1 lane for bikes etc.
I think it would be safestest approach in India, forget about whole world rules, let's take precautions based on our needs, anyway no body is following any rules on highway so why to worry about standard whole world rules in india, neither authorities are capable of pushing people yo follow rules, and this video is an excellent example of it.
Please drop one email to ministery with your idea or need, see how much change it will bring, trust me it will.

Over taking from left is illegal even though the vehicle is continuously moving in same lane. Changing lanes is part of overtaking but overtaking from left without changing lanes is also a wrong thing to do.
We have several reasons why we shouldn't overtake from left like blind spots, fast moving vehicle drivers may move to slow moving lanes if in case of an emergency, there are many more reasons for that.
So please understand and don't forget to on indicator while changing lanes.

haramkhoro ko kaun samjhaye? police ko patrol karna chahiye. Foreign mein karte hain. Road side pe observe karte hain. Rules todo toh piche aake pull over ka signal bhi dete hain.
India mein NH pe police toh durr ka baat hai, road hi sahi nahi hoti hai.
Bhai kai bar highway pe police bhi hoti h or vo truck walo ko rokti bhi h chahe overloaded ho ya galat driving kar rahe ho... But uske baad unse 50-100 ya 200-500 leke jane deti thi or ye sab me NH8 pe bhoot baar dekhta ayya hu...

Aap 60 ki speed se bike chalo delhi mein no one overtake you par right lane free nhi dege. Bus 35 ki speed par right lane main chalate hain. Left se overtake karo all india same rule...

People don't follow these rules because they even don't now about them . reasons are -
1 . every one is eager to learn how to ride vehicle , but they don't try to know the rules and regulations.
2. Guardian tech there children how to ride , but they don't tell there children about rules . either they don't know or they don't care.
3. Even while issuing DL authorities even don't tell the rules and regulations.
4. Last and the most important thing police also check DL, papers and helmet. They don't fine these fools .

Aise unko v pareshani nahi hogi aur dusre gariyo ko v nahi.

one of best video....well done Gagan ji. I driver on Delhi road and these type of riders trouble me daily and when I want drive constantly on left side suddenly I find some comming wrong side its is really degengrous to drive daily but it's our complusion to drive with risk.

If a survey is done asking people "which lane is supposed to be the fastest", the answer would be a 50%-50% split. Half of Indians would say left and half would say right. Most truckers and bikers would say you should overtake from the left.
Mr. Gagan, over the years I have realised that most of these rule breakers don't break rules because they like doing so. Instead they think that whatever they are doing on road is the correct way of doing it. Very few of us are really aware of actual road rules, forget about following them.

भाई साहब आपने बहुत बढ़िया बताया कि कैसे गाड़ी चलाते हैं पर बहुत कम लोग हैं जो यह समझ पाते हैं कि ऐसे गाड़ी चलाते हैं क्योंकि हमारे यहां लाइसेंस एजेंट से मिलता है बिना ट्राई किए बिना कुछ भी किए पैसे देकर हमें लाइसेंस मिल जाता है अगर हमें बताया जाए कि कैसे गाड़ी चलाते हैं तो हम अच्छे से गाड़ी अच्छे से गाड़ी चलाएं हमें पता ही नहीं है कि कैसे गाड़ी चलानी है हमें किसी ने कुछ बताया ही नहीं है तो हमें पता कैसे होगा कि कैसे गाड़ी चलाते हैं तीन लाइन बनी होती है और कोई भी अपनी लाइन में नहीं चलता सभी एक दूसरे की लाइन में चलते हैं और अपनी लाइन में तो बिल्कुल ही नहीं चलते लाइन के बीच गाड़ी चलाते हैं एक लाइन होती है ना उसके बीच में गाड़ी चलाते हैं कभी मैं जाता हूं ना रोड पर तो बहुत ही ज्यादा गुस्सा आता है यह कैसे लोग हैं जो टायर बिल्कुल जो वाइट लाइन होती ना उसकी उसकी दोनों तरफ टायर होते हैं उनके और जहां पर इंडिकेटर देना होता है वहां पर देते नहीं है और जहां पर नहीं देना होता है वहां पर वहां पर देते हैं उनको पता ही नहीं है वह क्या कर रहे हैं हमे जब लाइसेंस दिया जाता है तो हमें यह सब बताना चाहिए कि कैसे गाड़ी चलाते हैं तो हम अच्छे से गाड़ी चलाएं

Sir U R 100%correct even I have faced such problems many at times , but what to do when our people learn SAFE DRIVING , JAYSA AAP NE BOLA KHUD TO MARTE HAI DUSARO KO BHI MAR TE HSI , I HAVE WORKED IN MANY COUNTRIES, BELIVE ME TRUCKS AND BUSES RUN ON THE LAST LANE , NO ONE COMES RAMDOM , SUPPOSE THEY WANT TO OVER TAKE , THEY WILL SEE IF ANY VEHICLE IS COMING FRM BACK IN THE MID LANE , THEN ONLY THEY WILL OVER TAKE , OTHER WISE THEY WILL RUN JUST BEHIND EACH OTHET , YES THEY ALSO HAVE SPED MORE THAN 100 KMS PER HR , AS U SAID THE FIET LANE IS FOR HIGH SPEED SO ONLY CARS OVER TAKE FRM THER , I ALSO DON'T KNOW WHEN WILL OUR RTO TEACH THEM HOW TO DRIVE , ANOTHER THING IS THAT IN INDIA THEY R AFRAID OF THE LAST LANE IF THERE IS SOME SINKING OF ROAD OR "GADDA" IN OUR DESI LANGUAGE THE TRUCK WILL TOPPLE DOWN YES SIR ANOTHER BIGGEST PROBLEM IS OUR "GHAT"SECTIONS U MIGHT HAVE ALSO SEEN WHILE GOING DOIN WE R ON OUR SIDE BUT SPECIALLY BIG OR TRUCKS COME JUST IN FRONT OF US AS WHILE GOUNG UP THERE IS A STEEP CURVE SO THEY GO OTHER SIDE, AND ON A CURVE U HAVE A BIG TRUCK IN FRONT OF U , NOW WHAT TO DO , SITUSTION IS VERY BAD , ACCORDING TO ME THERE SHOULD BE SIGNALS SO THAT ONE SIDE TRAFFIC WILL HAULD WHEN ONE SIDE IS CLEAR THEN OTHER DIRECTION SHOULD BE GIVEN GREEN SIGNAL , TO AVOID, BROBLEMS YES THIS CAN BE DONR IN SHORT GHAT SECTIONS BUT NOT IN NORTHEN REGION WHERE THERE R GHATS ONLY IT CAN BE DIFFERENT AS WE KNOW IT IS DIFFICULT TO MAKE ROADS , OR IN SMALL GHSTS THER MUST BE DIFFRENT LANES FOR UP AND DOWN ,YES GOVT CAN DO I DON'T KNOW WHY IN OUR COUNTRY IT IS NOT DONE , GOT HAS LOTS OF MONEY AND THEY CHARGE FOR NAKA ALSO , NOW A DAYS "FAST TRAC " IS INTRODUCED , THEN WHAT IS THE SENCE OF FADT TRACK INSPITE OF PAYING U R STILL RISKING U R LIFE , OR ONE THIN UP TO SOME EXTENT THEY MUST PUT SIDE DIVIDERS DO NO ONE WILL JUST JUMP IN FRONT OF U REST U KNOW BEST , THIS IS MY THINKING SINCE A LONG TIME I HAVE MANY AT TIMES FACED SUCH PROBLEMS, IT'S U CAN APPROACH THE MINISTERY "MR GADKARI" AND STRONGLY PUT PROBLEMS AND THE SOLUTIONS , MAY BE IN GUTURE IT WILL BE ADDED , JSI HIND SIR .

sir trucks overtaking lane me isiliye chal rahe hai kyuki left lane ko log encroach karke baith jate hai, trucks ka movement lagataar interupt karte hai.

Bhai.. Really appreciate for this video.. When I get stuck in such situation ( 2: 34 in video). I just overtake them then and do the same thing with them, slowdown and sudden brakes... that is the only way make them understand how its disturb others

During check post it is better to guide truck drivers regarding selection of lane. If they won't follow, let them fine. Then only they learn. Thank you
3:54 suppose if I'm at this situation as a truck driver.. as the 3rd most lane is meant for overtaking but I obviously need to slow down and take turn from this lane to turn right.. in that situation apart from indicator what is the other thing one must do to the alert the people coming from back

It’s never too late to pass a comment for such useful video. Would like to suggest why we cannot insist traffic department to bring compulsory order to adhere these kind of regulations, in order to correct/ educate these reckless drivers.
