🥴 the introvert in me cringes @ the idea lol I still don't have enough nerve to go live lol but I can't say the thought hasn't crossed my mind or even that it hasn't been asked already lol gworlll talking about the 'all hail the king' scene or 'Lily' or '...the half brother' would be a dream to do whole group for sure! I appreciate you, tfw.
I loved your thoughts on this book! This was such a tender, faith filled and creative way to describe one of the first towns founded by black people. Louella is such a relatable character and to see her resilience and even despairs at time. Vanessa Miller did an amazing job!! So glad I read this!
Both, Vanessa Miller is a christian fiction author this is her first piece on Historical Fiction so their is faith elements in the book per usual. 💕hope that helps.
@@allthingsbooked Lol listen I’m still getting hip to the trigger warning acronyms myself. Okay! That makes sense. Feelings would have to be addressed. I just can’t take when it describes every detail of it and goes on for pages 🙅🏾♀️
Your hair 😍 is beautiful! I have this on my tbr and looking forward to reading it, I always enjoy your reviews.

Great review! I love to hear readers say they couldn’t put a book down and carried it everywhere. I will definitely be reading this one. 😊
I did read this and I loved it. If you ever decide to do a bookclub *hint hint* I would love to read this and have ALLL the discussions about it.

you are better than me lol by the end I still did not like him.
Gosh I love your hair 🥰🥰🥰

This book sounds so interesting. Is the genre Christian fiction, historical fiction or would you say both?
Both, Vanessa Miller is a christian fiction author this is her first piece on Historical Fiction so their is faith elements in the book per usual. 💕hope that helps.
Also, how graphic is the MC?
MC? miscarriage? not graphic itself but we see the pain as with any mother carrying, and it becomes another loss added to Louella's plate.
