Lester, Jami clearly wanted the lifestyle you had to offer her. She didn't walk into this lifestyle blind. And she has grown in so many ways through you and all your beautiful animals. To see her get excited over a simple garden, or fall madly in love with a little gal named Journey, to watch her bond so tightly with Dixie on such an amazing level yet was able to do right by her when the time came to make that decision none of us wants to make, says Jami loves all of it. Accidents do and will happen wherever there are farm animals and farm equipment. We are blessed that she is still here. I don't see her even questioning her choice to love you and everything that came with you. She has found her niche. Even an accident like what happened to her is not going to make her change her mind. She loves you. Your family. All the animals and she literally has blossomed through the good, the bad, and the ugly. We need to let her share her story and listen carefully. Accidents happen everyday to good people and Jamie is one of the best Lester it is okay to show your emotions and to cry that just shows how much you love her and how sorry you are for what happened. But you shouldn't be sorry because it's not your fault it was an accident. Lester, as a father, i understand & often have the same feelings of - it should be me. Watching a spouse or child suffer is so much harder than suffering yourself. However, you could never have controlled what happened. We have watched you time & time again try to protect "the women" of Morrow hill from accidents with horses. There are dangers everywhere, even just driving to the store. You are an excellent owner of animals & great husband in showing Jami how special she is in your life. I believe she KNOWS she is loved so greatly by her husband & i believe that is the best gift a husband can give. May God grant Jami recovery, she brings so much light to the lives of so many. Aw Lester. What you may not understand is your "lifestyle" is part of what Jami fell in love with. Without the babies sje would have never found you! It was an accident. Accidents happen, especially around animals. Jami will be okay. She is a strong, beautiful, resilient woman. Lester and Jami, thoughts and prayers to you for a speedy recovery. My mom had her jaws wired shut for 12 weeks and she ate everything we did. Hers just went through the blender. Accidents happen and this was an accident a very unfortunate accident. Jami is a strong woman and will come through this with flying colors. We have faith. Love to everyone. You will have some trying times, but try and find the positive and humor in things. When my mom had her jaws wired shut and we would blend everything so she could have food she liked, there were many stressful moments, but the ones we remember are the funny things that happened during her recovery. One in particular was when my dad accidentally sprayed the ceiling with mashed potatoes, gravy and ground up steak. As we were trying to eat the brown goo was dripping down onto the table and no one would say a word or even look at each other for fear of breaking into a giggle fit.
Lester it is so hard to see someone we love get hurt. It is what it is. An ACCIDENT. Jami loves those animals just as much as you do. I had my eye socket fractured from a dear little colt I loved. Accidents happen. Prayers for quick healing

I had my jaw wired at the age of 16 for 6 weeks! I’m 62 now! Way back then there wasn’t all the wonderful veggie or protein drinks available! I lived on milk shakes with raw eggs and my mom made what we now call smoothies with every kind of fruit, veggies and meats. I just remember I had to carry wire cutters incase I got sick at my tummy! Praying for great pain management and a speedy recovery of the concussion and mouth and jaw! Jamie you are such a strong and inspirational woman! I can relate to Jami as a single mom who mangled fingers in a lawn mower when I was 40 and a single mom. Also Jami has a health care back ground. She is a strong woman.
Everyone who thinks they are an expert on horses, need to rethink. No one is an expert. Every time you get around a horse you will learn something new. Horses can be the gentle creatures on earth, but the slightest movement can spook them. A simple lapse in judgement and an accident can occur. And that’s exactly what this was, an accident. Jami is tough and she will heal and be as beautiful as ever. You will be her biggest supporter. Hang in there and praying for a speedy recovery and healing for both of! 💕

I did catch this live yesterday, I waited on purpose to comment because I was so worried about Jami, I do remember When Jami was not all that excited to be on video. But what I remember most is during the gifts and goodies when people would write a really sweet letter to Jami she would just start to cry and Lester would ask why she was crying, and she usually just said I don't know because its so nice . and I have spent the past couple of years crying whenever Jami cried too. My one takeaway from this is that inorder to replace Jami's workload Lester had to bring in not 1 or 2 but 3 big adult men to help him carry the load of the ranch. and Now I'm crying along with Lester now too. I worked in the dental field for over 20 years and yes swelling in one area of the face can cause bruising in other places. I had some simple work done and the Dr. told me you might bruise a little bit from this, OMG it went down into my chin and onto my neck . I had to play with it, so I told people I got into a bar fight. Once I got better I told people the real story which was pretty boring I don't place any blame on anybody or any animal. Accidents are just that an accident that nobody saw coming. Love you both.

Hi Lester. I know you feel responsible for what happened to Jami, but you are not, nor is she, nor is the horse. It was an accident and we all know accidents happen on farms. Don’t waste your energy and your emotions on guilt when you need them to help Jami through what will undoubtedly be a tough time for her and for you too. She is a strong woman no doubt but she will still have to deal with pain, discomfort,frustration and possibly even depression. She will have to undergo extensive dental work by the sounds of it which will also be difficult for her and may affect you both financially. So yes she’s a strong lady but she’s also fragile right now and she needs you. You will need to take care of all her jobs around the three places until she is back on her feet as well as your own. No easy task especially as you will be looking after her as well. So take care Lester. Be kind to yourself. You have had a terrible shock. The person you love was hurt and there was nothing you could do to stop it. You need to rest while Jami is in hospital so you can look after her when she’s ready to come home. You’re fragile too even though you don’t like to think so. My heart goes out to Jami at this terrible time for her. I wish her a speedy recovery and send her White Light to help her to heal. I am sending prayers and hugs and thoughts to both of you. ❤ I was sent head first over my horse's head at 16 yrs of age. She ran up a hill, saw a fence, and stopped in her tracks. I was bareback and did not stop. I was knocked out and scraped up. I still have headaches to this day. The only reason I have not ridden horse in many years is because my horse passed away at 32yrs of age. I never blamed her. It was my fault for not being careful. Animals are unpredictable. Accidents happen. If Jami didn't want to be with you and share a life with you, she wouldn't be there. She is a strong, independent woman. I feel like Jami doesn't do anything she doesn't want to do. She loves you like crazy Lester. Ima Survivor, Longhorn Lester's, and J and L are the life she has also chosen. I look forward to seeing both of you on your videos as soon as you are ready and able. I know how hard this is for you. My sister had to have her jaw wired shut after a car accident. She had many meals through a straw. They were thankfully able to put her teeth back in during the surgery. I know that will be the least of Jami's worries and they have such wonderful options now that they didn't have back then. I fully understood what happened right from the very beginning. You didn't have to say a word, I broke into instant tears. The same thing happened to my baby brother when he was little. It was my horse and I went to get the rifle to shoot it. My grandpa made me see the light. It took awhile but my brother came through without a sign and Jami will too except for some false teeth. But if you don't mind, I will still cry for her and pray "Oh LORD Please Give Jami A Speedy recovery time, AMEN".❤
The horse lived to be a ripe old age. I believe he was in his thirties. It happened a long time ago, but my little brother (54 years old) can still remember the pain.

I'm so sorry, having once owned horses, or any animal, I know things happen in an instant. I pray for her speedy, total, and pain-free recovery in Jesus's Name. By your statements, she has received the best care possible on time. She will heal, it will take time. We had horses and that spiff happens all the time. Going over the jumps is really bad sometimes. NO it is not your fault and you did not force her, she chose to go with you and that lifestyle. She LOVES it. Accidents happen. Horses are prey, this means they are always on alert for predators so the least little thing will startle them and they react in a big way, because they are big animals. She will heal Lester. Lester, as a father, i understand & often have the same feelings of - it should be me. Watching a spouse or child suffer is so much harder than suffering yourself. However, you could never have controlled what happened. We have watched you time & time again try to protect "the women" of Morrow hill from accidents with horses. There are dangers everywhere, even just driving to the store. You are an excellent owner of animals & great husband in showing Jami how special she is in your life. I believe she KNOWS she is loved so greatly by her husband & i believe that is the best gift a husband can give. May God grant Jami recovery, she brings so much light to the lives of so many. Not just people, but animals too

Lester and Jami, thoughts and prayers to you for a speedy recovery. My mom had her jaws wired shut for 12 weeks and she ate everything we did. Hers just went through the blender. Accidents happen and this was an accident a very unfortunate accident. Jami is a strong woman and will come through this with flying colors. We have faith. Love to everyone.
You will have some trying times, but try and find the positive and humor in things. When my mom had her jaws wired shut and we would blend everything so she could have food she liked, there were many stressful moments, but the ones we remember are the funny things that happened during her recovery. One in particular was when my dad accidentally sprayed the ceiling with mashed potatoes, gravy and ground up steak. As we were trying to eat the brown goo was dripping down onto the table and no one would say a word or even look at each other for fear of breaking into a giggle fit.
Lester it is so hard to see someone we love get hurt. It is what it is. An ACCIDENT. Jami loves those animals just as much as you do. I had my eye socket fractured from a dear little colt I loved. Accidents happen. Prayers for quick healing

I had my jaw wired at the age of 16 for 6 weeks! I’m 62 now! Way back then there wasn’t all the wonderful veggie or protein drinks available! I lived on milk shakes with raw eggs and my mom made what we now call smoothies with every kind of fruit, veggies and meats. I just remember I had to carry wire cutters incase I got sick at my tummy! Praying for great pain management and a speedy recovery of the concussion and mouth and jaw! Jamie you are such a strong and inspirational woman! I can relate to Jami as a single mom who mangled fingers in a lawn mower when I was 40 and a single mom. Also Jami has a health care back ground. She is a strong woman.
Everyone who thinks they are an expert on horses, need to rethink. No one is an expert. Every time you get around a horse you will learn something new. Horses can be the gentle creatures on earth, but the slightest movement can spook them. A simple lapse in judgement and an accident can occur. And that’s exactly what this was, an accident. Jami is tough and she will heal and be as beautiful as ever. You will be her biggest supporter. Hang in there and praying for a speedy recovery and healing for both of! 💕

I did catch this live yesterday, I waited on purpose to comment because I was so worried about Jami, I do remember When Jami was not all that excited to be on video. But what I remember most is during the gifts and goodies when people would write a really sweet letter to Jami she would just start to cry and Lester would ask why she was crying, and she usually just said I don't know because its so nice . and I have spent the past couple of years crying whenever Jami cried too. My one takeaway from this is that inorder to replace Jami's workload Lester had to bring in not 1 or 2 but 3 big adult men to help him carry the load of the ranch. and Now I'm crying along with Lester now too.
I worked in the dental field for over 20 years and yes swelling in one area of the face can cause bruising in other places. I had some simple work done and the Dr. told me you might bruise a little bit from this, OMG it went down into my chin and onto my neck . I had to play with it, so I told people I got into a bar fight. Once I got better I told people the real story which was pretty boring
I don't place any blame on anybody or any animal. Accidents are just that an accident that nobody saw coming. Love you both.

Hi Lester. I know you feel responsible for what happened to Jami, but you are not, nor is she, nor is the horse. It was an accident and we all know accidents happen on farms. Don’t waste your energy and your emotions on guilt when you need them to help Jami through what will undoubtedly be a tough time for her and for you too. She is a strong woman no doubt but she will still have to deal with pain, discomfort,frustration and possibly even depression. She will have to undergo extensive dental work by the sounds of it which will also be difficult for her and may affect you both financially. So yes she’s a strong lady but she’s also fragile right now and she needs you. You will need to take care of all her jobs around the three places until she is back on her feet as well as your own. No easy task especially as you will be looking after her as well. So take care Lester. Be kind to yourself. You have had a terrible shock. The person you love was hurt and there was nothing you could do to stop it. You need to rest while Jami is in hospital so you can look after her when she’s ready to come home. You’re fragile too even though you don’t like to think so. My heart goes out to Jami at this terrible time for her. I wish her a speedy recovery and send her White Light to help her to heal. I am sending prayers and hugs and thoughts to both of you. ❤ I was sent head first over my horse's head at 16 yrs of age. She ran up a hill, saw a fence, and stopped in her tracks. I was bareback and did not stop. I was knocked out and scraped up. I still have headaches to this day. The only reason I have not ridden horse in many years is because my horse passed away at 32yrs of age. I never blamed her. It was my fault for not being careful. Animals are unpredictable. Accidents happen. If Jami didn't want to be with you and share a life with you, she wouldn't be there. She is a strong, independent woman. I feel like Jami doesn't do anything she doesn't want to do. She loves you like crazy Lester. Ima Survivor, Longhorn Lester's, and J and L are the life she has also chosen. I look forward to seeing both of you on your videos as soon as you are ready and able. I know how hard this is for you. My sister had to have her jaw wired shut after a car accident. She had many meals through a straw. They were thankfully able to put her teeth back in during the surgery. I know that will be the least of Jami's worries and they have such wonderful options now that they didn't have back then. I will be praying for both of you as you go through the healing process. Jami is a fighter and I know she will recover quickly. It's good that you two can laugh about this! Love you both.

I fully understood what happened right from the very beginning. You didn't have to say a word, I broke into instant tears. The same thing happened to my baby brother when he was little. It was my horse and I went to get the rifle to shoot it. My grandpa made me see the light. It took awhile but my brother came through without a sign and Jami will too except for some false teeth. But if you don't mind, I will still cry for her and pray "Oh LORD Please Give Jami A Speedy recovery time, AMEN".❤

The horse lived to be a ripe old age. I believe he was in his thirties. It happened a long time ago, but my little brother (54 years old) can still remember the pain.

I heard of Jamie's accident from Cog Hill Farm asking prayer for her and they asked us to come over to your site if we wanted to find out more. I'm so sorry, having once owned horses, or any animal, I know things happen in an instant. I pray for her speedy, total, and pain-free recovery in Jesus's Name. By your statements, she has received the best care possible on time. She will heal, it will take time. Stay strong Lester, your questions will be answered by the doctors, and you will be that helpmate to your lovely wife in her recovery. I’m so sorry to hear this I’m mortified 😮 prayers are all I have to give Lester and I’m praying for Jamie that she recovers from this quickly. Jamie is such a trouper with this lifestyle. We had horses and that spiff happens all the time. Going over the jumps is really bad sometimes. NO it is not your fault and you did not force her, she chose to go with you and that lifestyle. She LOVES it. Accidents happen. Horses are prey, this means they are always on alert for predators so the least little thing will startle them and they react in a big way, because they are big animals. She will heal Lester.
