I’d sure like to stand in that room….but it’s a bit unlikely because I’m in Northern California. Mark Callanan who lives near Sidney is an older artist in his own right , he and I made some great exhibitions while he was visiting here years ago. Recently I wrote him to see what he was up to after all his worldly travels. I’ve wanted to travel down under and see some of these marvelous paintings close up….as I mentioned previous, how would it feel to stand in a room full of Musgrave-Evans knife work? I’m still paint at 77, recently knocked out a 5x15 foot seascape of my favorite place Arena Cove…near Point Arena Ca….? Yeah I’ve an itch to circumnavigate Australia even at my age…many by recumbent trike!

I reckon you could paint the phone book and make it look dynamic. 🤣I was keen to see what you would do with this vegetable scene and wasn't disappointed. Love the way you build up tone and form, creating meaning and detail from chaos. Looks good enough to eat. Every video you create and generously share is a masterpiece of learning.
