That's an amazing pickup. I can't believe none of them got toned in there. That must be pretty well sealed tin. And yes the tin is also awesome. I use to go rummaging. It's probably been about 5 years. Probably a good time to get back at it.
Awesome pickup. Love the old tin too! I always asks at garage sales if they have any coins but never find any. Nor can you find sterling. But I'd sure be a happy camper if I could find some goodies like that.
Great score!! I haven't found any coins at yard sales yet, but antique shops can hold some real deals! Some of those coins, especially the Morgans lack luster, do you think they were cleaned??
awesome find! My brother in law is in the antique business and has been for many years. He bought two cabinets of some kind at an estate sale once for $700 I believe. They were nice cabinets and I know almost nothing about antique furniture, but I feel he got a good deal on the cabinets. The thing is, there was a piece of wood lying on one of the tears in one of the cabinets. At first, he thought that it was just a board. When he went to inspect the item further after taking it home, he discovered the wood actually had a painting on it. He took it to have it appraised by someone he knew at the antique mall. Turns out the painting was 19th century Italy (I don't remember if he told me who the artist was). The guy that appraised the painting off the top of his head said it was about eleven hundred dollars. He moved to another state recently so I am not sure if he kept the painting or sold it
Over 30 years ago I sold my penny, nickel and Roosevelt dime folders for $135 at a yard sale. Big regret. I found most of those coins in my mom's tip money. So I made a profit but should have kept it for retirement surplus money. Still regret it to this day.
My experience : The people who have the coins went to a coin shop the day before the sale and got the items appraised and are now selling the coins for more than you can buy them at the coin shop.
I bought some ammo at a garage sale once I asked the lady how much. She told me $60, I thought it was fir the 2 boxes of 45 acp but she sold me 8 boxes of 45 acp then brought 4 more out of the house. She asked if I shot 5.56 and brought me 2 ammo cans about 600 rounds for additional 40 bucks. So 600 rounds 45acp and 600 rounds 5.56 green tip for a c note lol
Calculate the silver to copper ratio. You’ll see there should be about 4m tons of silver in the world today. Only 1.7m tons gets reported? Considering gold and silver tend to get hoarded, world silver inventory could be as hi as 7m tons. That’s not counting the ore waiting to be refined. Silver is going to $14. In a years time, you can buy $20 silver eagles, all day long!
I love to watch your channel I live in Barbados and I am the only coin collector I know here anyway can u give me a shout. On your next video and I would love just one of those walking liberty I do not any as yet
I need some help with some coins and every one is giving me the run around I am a beginner and all these negative comments like Barbados they do not ship to I need some help please
Your purchase was for less then half of spot price. You should be ashamed of yourself. You appear to enjoy taking advantage of a person's lack of knowledge in this field. Hope you sleep well tonight.

Nice pickup! I have never seen any silver coins at garage sales. Estate sales near me price everything high so I rarely ever stop by them anymore.
That is so cool. I had a similar experience with a guy sold me 9 liberty peace dollars and 2 older rare coins for a 100 dollars.
I wish I had the time to go to yard sales. Great deal for sure and with a such a cool tin included. Great video Patriot Stacker 👍👍

Excellent score my friend
Wow so lucky. Congrats man

Curious what you would normally pay times face at yard sales ?
I just try to find it less than I would pay at my local coin shop. Right now anything under $19x face would be good.
Love this channel!!
I've always looked for coins at yard sales but No luck so far.

Classic garage sale dilemma. Profit from someone’s ignorance or enlighten them. 🤔
