When I hear the original now it sounds different somehow. Like, sadder. Wish when I was younger I paid attention to lyrics a bit more. This re-imagine is a masterpiece imo.
Heard that from so many people 🤦♂️ One reason that I believe this version is better and will be even bigger than the original. More feeling More meaning More palatable instruments Papa Roach is great but after people get past the nostalgia of the original, this one is objectively better in every way.
Its not very often that someone manages to take a song thats already excellent on its own, and then not only do it proper justice, but blow it away and do it better. This was incredible and I think it properly captures the emotions that are expressed by the lyrics.
I thought it was incredible as well.. But I don't know if I'd say it's better persay? I kinda treat them as just two different songs as they are SO different and both are just bloody brilliant. And for that I can't really compare them in terms of which is better (both rock)
@jamesdale6792 for me I find it better, it hits deeper the original the instruments take over more than the lyrics, Ronnie's version somehow made the lyrics hit deeper
Someone said it in a other video so well. Back in 2000 we were a bunch of angry teens listening to Last Resort, letting out some of our rage. Now we are a bunch of adults, disappointed with the world, taking in the lyrics in a different way because of what Ronnie did with the song.
Papa Roach seemed to emphasize the anger, whereas Ronnie conveys the depression, and highlights the depth of the lyrics. Both are incredible and leave an undeniable impact, an emotional punch in the chest. The is audible therapy for our fucked up lives.🖤
This is what is ment when people talk about someone & they call them a " visionary " to be able to envision something different from a song in your mind & then produce that vision , is a gift
Man. It’s been absolutely amazing to witness Ronnie grow personally, creatively, & musically. I remember getting so much shit for listening to FIR and now they’re creating shit like THIS! MAN!🔥
Cut my life into pizza meme is classic. I will say this in every reaction to share someone's wisdom. The original is for the angry kids. This version is for the healing adults.
Ronnie didn't change a thing, the man responsible for this and the previous FIR reimagined songs is Sean Rooney, he composed, orchestrated and did the piano for those songs, Ronnie is amazing but credit where credits due :)
@@Grimlock1975Sean Rooney is a big part of it but Ronnie Radke is also heavily involved. Saying that he didn't change a thing on this or any of the previous reimagined songs is plain wrong.

Love your reaction…this rendition brings the power of the lyrics to light. Jacoby must have been going through some shit when this was written. I never realized how deep the lyrics were until now. I love this. You never know we’re depression will hit or who it will affect. This hits all the feels. ❤

This is probably my favorite reactions to this song. When you said " Dawg shit" and " now to speal off my my TH-camr shit" gets me laughing so much. You're personality is gold. I'm gonna come through on your Twitch for sure. Keep making content!!!! Love your vibes
Ronnie is in that stage where everything he does turns to gold. I honestly don't think there is anyone in the music business that has the talent to match him.
❤❤it's a awesome masterpiece ❤❤ my first reaction was a mental breakdown 😢 because the lyrics are so deep and had remind myself of a very hard part of my life...
I have cried so many times, I cant keep count. I can not quit watching reactions. So I am still crying. It is so dang powerful. Ronnie just keeps out doing himself. #FallinginReverse #LASTRESORT
There’s a video or short of Ronnie playing this for the lead singer of Papa Roach and he was shaking in the video but the Papa Roach’s singer really liked it. That must be one of the most amazing feelings to reimagine a song from the artist and have that artist actually like the reimagining you did. That must be insane. Ronnie did such an amazing job with this song and it’s definitely a reimagining and not a cover.
I just friggin love to see reactions to this song and yours was beautiful. It was the same for me, at first I was like "wtf o.O" and then it just hits you full on and the emotions overwhelm, epic song, awesome reaction, so beautiful to see how the song touches you. Thats what I love about people that really "feel" the music, it shows.
This song hits so damn hard, i've heard this so many times and everytime i tear up still. The music was so good but man, that vocal performance and delivery was just incredible
I’m writing this comment at 5:30 of your video and I am crying along with you…. This song hits so deep in the souls you can physically feel it…. Radke made this his own with this reimagining…. Every time I watch/hear it it hits me harder and I feel it deeper….
This one was one where I knew the words but they just hit differently when he sang them. I knew "It all started when I lost my mother, no love for myself and no love for another" was coming and it hit me how his mother left him as a baby and I was just like, "Awww, damn Ronnie." Beautiful version.
8:10- yeh, Ronnie turned this song that was already a GOAT type song, and turns it into a brand new fucken meaning!! Those that cry, know! those that cried, KNOW! those lyrics hit hard!! i didnt know Last Resort was soo dark!!! and yeh man, Paige would of been crazy about this song!
I love watching your reactions. Your such a beatiful person inside and out. You have such a cool personality and your reactions are awesome. Look forward to more reactions by you.
I was crying like a Baby when I first heard this Cover! Never were the Lyrics so clear and heartbreaking before. This goes out to the ones who are struggling, stay strong! Thanks for sharing your tears, you got a new follower spooky squirrel🫶
I listen to falling in reverse every day at work. This band is amazing, what’s crazy is he can sing classic rap and scream but not to much screaming. This song is very deep and dark but to tone it down was fing amazing. They need to collaborate together now! Thank you for the videos it’s a great idea to see you react to music again thank you!!
