Cant get this to work :( I need to use the provided CPE switch. Internet are connected to its LAN5 port/WAN and IP-TV box on 3-4 Ports, LAN1 are connected to my own router. This switch is manageable but i cant control it. No IP, no nothing. Its available only to ISP. VLAN. My goal is to get rid of this switch and use my mikrotik router instead.
It depends of how you ISP deliver the connection. If it is via GPON, you will not able to do this, because the ONU (router from the ISP) is passivly controlled bu the OLT (ISP datacenter). In this case, you can ask the ISP to bridge one of the ports for the internet access and connect you Mikrotik to control all the data traffic. In this way, ISP router will no longer NAT and forward all frames to your Mikrotik router. If you are deliverd by coper this could be done, but have to check. Most of the ISP configure L2 restrictions for the spcific MAC address of the router that they gave you, You can bypass by modifying you Mikrotik LAN1 (for example) to clone the ISP router mac address. In this way you will receive all packets and have control over the network. As I said, it depends of how your ISP deliver the connection.
