Hey Dan! I’m a young stay at home mom who came across your content in the depths of postpartum depression. For months all I did was watch your videos and use them as springboards to study other concepts in business, philosophy, and depth psychology. It reignited that fire in me that I had growing up for storytelling, writing, and mythology. I bought one of your courses and am going to buy Two Hour Writer next. All this to say -
I used your information to dig myself out of my suffering. I launched a service-based business that combines my skills (teaching women how to give birth and mother in their power) with my interests (mythology and depth psychology) that I call Mythic Motherhood. I’m building my personal brand. I’m working on stealing your work like an artist 😂 and putting a feminine energy spin on it to repurpose important spiritual information for young mothers.
All this to say, I remember you saying one time that you don’t make content for soccer moms. Maybe not directly, but your work has directly impacted the way I articulate my own ethos through my work and I will be passing your insight on to my audience. As always, we’re all connected in the most interesting ways.
Anyways, just wanted to share. Much love to you!

I love this, and congrats to you!....that sounds like a great idea!. I too love his work, and want to take what he does and repurpose it toward maybe homeschooling, or something but I'm not really sure how honestly. I just felt compelled to respond to you 😊. Have a great day, and I wish you well in your business 😊

Man this really hit home! You've identified what I myself have been trying to for 37 years! I came from a well off family and was the only child. Now both of my parents have been deceased for a # of years. They left me a foundation but I haven't built on it and the last few years squander most of it being completely honest. I've been on a journey to figure out "WTF is wrong with me?!", "Why can't I do 💩?!". My parents ment well but the consequence was no skills where built for SELF RELIANCE!! Over the last few months I've begun to self teach myself UI/Web design and I've finally turned a corner in the fundamentals of these skills. This video has given me a level of clarity I have been lacking my whole life. I am now hungrier and better equipped to move forward because of this clarity! Thanks Dan!

I love your videos Dan. You are part of the reason I started my business in the financial space catering to content creators, entrepreneurs, entertainers and basically any person or brand that needs help with their taxes and finances. You helped me realise I can monetise my love for teaching and helping people into a career I genuinely love. You helped me find my purpose I am so happy to finally be able to say that and live from that perspective. All through my 20s I was unsure of my purpose. Now I'm almost 30, I feel like I'm just tapping into my potential and my business is growing so fast I can barely keep up and it's because of content like this, I never gave up. Thank you so much for all your amazing work!

As an iOS developer in my spare time, I had hopes of finding a developer position or becoming an independent app developer. What you made me realize is that I did it all backwards. I had an app with no audience. That audience takes time to build. I must admit, I have all the time left on this planet to build an audience. Where my since of urgency comes from is wanting to get out of my current full time job as quickly as possible.
I'm glad TH-cam suggested your content to me or else I would have never found you. What you talk about in this video and your other vods, makes sense to me in real, thoughtful ways. I'm breaking out the planner again and committing to this solid strategy. Thank you for your content.

You are one of the few entrepreneur "bros" I can tolerate. Some of your info doesn't apply to me but I respect the quality of the free content you're publishing. (Just a difference in current goals and perspective, no worries, no hate :) ) I'm really surprised you're informing your audience about what's behind the one-person business or entrepreneurship in general. Kudos for actually distilling the fundamental concepts and sharing! After I rest and recover from my injury, I might dabble and see if this business model suits me.
So many other bros and girlbosses have vaguely figured this out but are obviously insecure and nervously gatekeep behind paywalls. Probably because they know deep down, that the value of the knowledge they sell is shallow (like, just learn to code, to market, or idly manifest) and not very different from plain old googling.
All the best to your tech company!

Code and media are the most leveraged assets. However you don’t have to learn them at the beginning. Once you learn marketing and sales you can reach out and partner with a content creator (media) or with a programmer/founder (code). From there, help them create and/or sell a product and take a percentage of the revenue. This is the easiest way to leverage code and media :)

Diversity to encompass. Encompassing all the way through usually can be more marketable than encompassing to diversify if you're starting out. The problem can be that people can see that manner or act of being encompassed as the act of diversification itself. Everything has to stem from intention although that too can breed fear. I feel like taking things seriously has no context about half the time lol.

I am closing my company. It has never worked. Accept 2 suggestions.
    1) never work with family members or friends
    2) before you do anything, I mean anything get a good accountant and a lawyer. You can be the most successful software guy if you forget your tax return you are, you know what I mean. If you have to sign a contract you need a good lawyer that protects your interest and tells you sign or not to sign.

Do you think ADD and ADHD are the biggest causes of people not knowing what they want? Which eventually leaves them to look at others' success to scale what they should be doing rather than focusing on what they love to do? Great video! Thank you for all you do. Your channel is very inspiring and helpful.

Good question. Definitively, high on the spectrum of Adhd will make on doubt themselves and their regulation, to the point that self-reliance becomes quite hard.
      Hard to generalise
Deep rooted beliefs need to be changed. And sometimes, results are the only way to start shifting one’s beliefs.
It’s weird, because Adds are impulsive, but they are not towards the path that will break them freer :) peace and love

question for anyone willing to answer...
Would we be able to agree that in terms of coding and content, dance choreographers, and music producers land on both side of content and code.... right?

Hey Dan, what do you think is the BEST platform to start Content Creation on?
Not the easiest, the best (in terms of substance and leverage).
    Thanks in advance!

Hey Dan! Love your content my man. I picked up The 2 Hour Writer a few weeks ago. Great product! I just published my first newsletter and I'm curious... you're reading these word for word. What does your process look like? You sound (and look) like you naturally speak like this which is amazing considering that it's the same in writing.
